I thought I'd answer this one.

'Would somebody kindly explain. An oversubscribed equity issue at 0.5p, followed by another oversubscribed equity issue shortly afterwards at 0.75p. Why not simply bump up the placing price so that supply meets demand, say at 0.6p and 0.9p? I thought a Co. had a duty to look after the interests of existing shareholders, not dish out under-priced confetti at mates' rates to er.. mates.'

What's done is done, but the worrying point is that those two batches constitute 11% of the company's issued shares...therefore offered at such low prices suggests a pre-arranged, clandestine deal.....the question that should be asked is...to what purpose?

bleemster you have now just put a curse on that then by claiming rns in morning, we will have to add your names to the many investors on here that have never called a correct rns. on a more serious note, lets just pray that everything the bod are doing (placings etc, keeping us in the dark) is being done with our best interests at heart. 65293 postings on this bb shows the dedication and determination and blood and sweat of everyone invested here. i am hoping there is a day of rekoning where the share price can rise to a level that everyone who is deep under water here can get their money back with a good few quid on top, so they can then make the decision to sell or hold on their own terms. a lot of folk have had to sit tight here on big paper loses knowing full well if they press the sell button then everything they have hoped and dreamed of and all the stress from being invested in this will end and paper loses will then become real loses. come on sirius bod, in the next 6 weeks give us investors something to cheer about please.

I take your point, DrR, but What makes you think they are not? (Working in shareholder's interests, that is). They need cash cheaply. Below share price placing are a lot cheaper and quicker than a rights issue and who is to say that shareholders taking up a right's issue are any less likely to sell out for a quick profit?

What makes me laugh is people are more concerned about who's avatar is who and making silly remarks about complete faceless strangers than question why the hell after another 6 months we are still in the dark as to what a going on and still no sign of first oil!

Clock is ticking only a few more weeks and still no admission doc rto fourth partner or schedule as to how and when this is gonna get into production.

Come on Bod please do something this year for once i can't face another year of expecting to get my money back and being let down yet again.
