02/9/2016 09:09 | The slight issue I have with Mr Shiliss is that the pis who have attended the AGMs are those very same people who have been spilling the bullshine that has been fed to them at those very same meetings. Lekki FTZ needs big gas in 2017 btw, which perhaps explains Sirius initial focus on gas rather than oil. | dr rosso
02/9/2016 09:04 | more like this I think.. | witchywoo
02/9/2016 07:40 | The SRSP Rocket is on the launch pad and ready for lift off... | htrocka2
02/9/2016 07:02 | If big news was imminent the price and volume would be far higher. Probably got at least a year or more of the same old gravy train before anything happens maybe more. | aventador
01/9/2016 22:10 | Ha ha - Chris Shiherlis has got a great way with words. I think Dr R means well but he tries to guess everything and unfortunately all his different scenarios have never happened but they sound so good - if only he did the RNSs as he's got a great imagination. You've got to take what he says with a pinch of salt but he does do a great bit of research that the rest of us can't be bothered to do. The thing is here that it's up to all of us to do our own work - i.e. ring the people involved yourself. I have and I understand there is no AGM date yet as they are waiting for certain news - don't know what this is but I understand it is not far away - keep watching this space. | carrbradshaw
01/9/2016 21:28 | Too busy pulling himself off to the sounds of Berlinda Carlise to notice there was a meeting going on. Stop posting this absolute gash and go to the meetings. | chris shiherlis
01/9/2016 20:55 | Never mind Ororo, the really exciting field lies elsewhere. Epiya is the main O&G discovery well in 241, drilled in the Avon canyon. 10k feet sedimentary chute = hc super-rich. It appears on the maps, to the extreme right. Almost certainly this is the big one that they'll be wanting to get flowing, and the relatively small Ororo is being made to wait until it's ready. | dr rosso
01/9/2016 20:29 | Pleased to see ur keeping up Carr. If it takes until 2019, so be it. Not selling a bean. Simps. I'd be very surprised if Aliko Dangote was not involved in supplying O&G to this huge industrial complex which is taking shape. Why would he bother buying tens of millions of barrels when he can simply slap his cash on the table and buy out Sirius, so taking 95 and 241 at a stroke? Lekki is a China-Nigeria joint enterprise. If Dangote doesn't take the oil blocks, the Chinese will. | dr rosso
01/9/2016 20:26 | Should see news by 2020.Plant maybe ready and they might after another three years got there acts together, the advanced funding takes time you know! It was advanced two years ago and still we wait. | aventador

01/9/2016 19:42 | Any thoughts on someone taking the gas and someone else taking the crude. Why is a man who is involved in his own company the finance man at sirius.conflict of interests? | bronislav
01/9/2016 19:39 | A refinery with 650k bopd capacity Part of a huge industrial complex which needs big gas Where's it all coming from? Not 2 major shallow Ondo offshore blocks by any chance? | dr rosso

01/9/2016 16:30 | Question is how many more summers will us lemons still be sitting here locked in debating random nonsense theories waiting just to get our own cash back? | aventador
01/9/2016 16:16 | Worth a look at CTAG rnss in 2016 to see the multiple fundraises at 2p and 5p for no obv purpose other than to fill the boots of the Corvus crew before the big event now when the product is launched to the US market. | dr rosso
01/9/2016 15:55 | Nima funding deal supposedly collapsed because of the significant dilution it would have brought to existing shareholders. It didn't stop Sirius going on to issue over one billion shares to unknown placees which have resulted in minimal finance being raised. That Calvet £1.5m loan no. 2 was most odd in several respects... a) It replaced Calvet loan no. 1 for £3m, of which only £275k was used. The terms of loan 2 were considerably worse for the Co. and its existing shareholders b) Full upfront commitment fees were taken as 30m shares on setting it up c) The 1p conversion price was effectively halved by the drawdown arrangement fees d) £100k was taken off, and that facility was awarded to Greenlands instead e) A further £500k was removed (reasons undeclared), leaving £700k outstanding f) £700k. The 140m potential share issue now needs authorisation at GM g) The lender can force the Co. to take the £700k whether the Co. wants it or not h) £200k to date has been withdrawn. Needless to say we haven't the foggiest why. Calvet is run by Simon Fry, btw. Little is known about Greenlands Estate Holdings other than it is a long term holder, and curiously shares the same name as a Nigerian residential property group which owns land adjacent to the Dangote refinery being constructed in Lekki FTZ, Lagos (N. of Ondo.) | dr rosso
01/9/2016 15:09 | This is an old article and I was amazed at the sweeping statements made and allowed to be printed, yet not retracted by SRSP.. (could it be true? or was it just poorly worded, ie baring in mind the 'pipeline of assets' and all that..)If true, it might help explain why the Nima deal collapsed. 'Sirius Ororo's OML 95, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sirius, which directly owns OML 95...' ...and also note the time frame for the loan term being 2018,,,,the same time as the majority of warrants and options. They have an option to convert to shares....think about it.. if the company folds, they'll have no options at all... and no return of cash either. | htrocka2
