Okay,Jimduggen introduce something to discuss, perhaps backing up your assertions re oil within a few months or a new angle on the potential of gas take off to e.g. Dangote, or the possibility of other assets. Not knocking your contribution but there has been precious little to back it up. For example. The timescale you suggest implies we have to get moving, after all you have a circa 45 day drill and some three month lead in. Has segmental reporting allowed them to "hide" some preparatory work. Lots to discuss my friend.

A little levity is no problem, Cammy, while waiting for news. We have done and dusted all the potential and all the possibilities we await news to get the starting of the race to riches.

This must go down as one of the worst boards ever. Hopefully we have something tangible to discuss soon. I really would like to discuss the business once it evolves. I've suggested a new thread in due course

Audrey and your wolfesses, so pleased your local British Bake Off has proved successful. I won't trouble you for recipe

I hope, for you and I, that this proves a rollicking good investment and that you make sufficient spondoolies to redo your kitchen and have a glorious twilight. I can assure you that my spread is nice and wide and that my bollingers are so tight that I am wincing slightly.

My,what a day I've had ....up early at 5am to make the Victoria sponge and then called to pick up Mrs childersly and here carrot cake then round to kitty roggerhams to pick up her Divine coffee and walnut cake .I am pleased to let you know we sold the lot except for one slice of my Victoria sponge .I was going to offer it to Alex PHD but after his tirade today as much as I forgive as we are all children of Adam I am not forgiving enough to let him have the last slice .Mr turner at no 95 can have it as he is house bound .....The girls and I have only recently bought in here ,pooling our savings and throwing caution to the wind ..We have a sizeable holding and although we are new to this game we hope we have timed our entry right ...We are calling our little group the wolfesses of the m25.If we strike lucky we won't be going in for all that debauchery seen in the wolf of Wall Street as we are all in the twilight years and the juices have dried somewhat .Have an adorable weekend and remember to keep your spread wide and your bollingers tight.

You mean, like Michael Jackson?

You stupid moron, you are going to lose all "your" money (your giros, i.e., my taxpayers' money) yet again, just like you did on Petrel.

I guess, htrocka2, that if SRSP is the operator it is up to us to take in the receipts, at least notionally, and pay them their percentage. This will also ensure that we get out costs back asap.

drrichard.. Dr Mimimko has had a rough ride with Owena Oil and Gas,. It was reported that he is also an SRSP share holder and also, in view of the Guarantee article, must be close to their board members, the point being, that when this finally gets sold off, it'll probably be all as one complete package, ie, SRSP, Owena and Guarantee....all as one deal. (only my opinion)

ps... what provisions have Guarantee in place for selling their percentage of the oil? ...
