I guess, htrocka2, that if SRSP is the operator it is up to us to take in the receipts, at least notionally,and pay them their percentage. This will also ensure that we get out costs back asap.

drrichard.. Dr Mimimko has had a rough ride with Owena Oil and Gas,. It was reported that he is also an SRSP share holder and also, in view of the Guarantee article, must be close to their board members, the point being, that when this finally gets sold off, it'll probably be all as one complete package, ie, SRSP, Owena and Guarantee....all as one deal. (only my opinion)

ps... what provisions have Guarantee in place for selling their percentage of the oil? ...

Jimjam ....we know it self regulates which gives it the opportunity to drill ororo and keep it hidden behind the disclaimer ( only joking guys we know this definately is not the case..)....it's been awful weather offshore Nigeria ,hope it hasn't held things up too much .lots of lightening .....

Jenny...Owena Oil and Gas have a Chairman and a CEO.. Mimimko was not even recorded as a director...yet overruled company's authority and tried to run the show himself... as controler of the major share holding thought he had the power to do this....it now transpires and explained to him he doesn't and can only vote 'yes' or 'no' to proposal made by the board,

With respect to hind sight and the Guarantee article, the whole episode was bizarre to say the least.. on the one hand Owena Oil and Gas were pre-occupied with the asset shuffling into Owena Energy by Dr Mimimko, whereas Guarantee spent their time posting dubious articles about a farm in partner which, quite frankly, was non of their concern or business and beyond their remit....unless of course the two incidents were related and instigated by the same entity which would imply that Dr Mimimko himself, with his Owena Energy, attempted to forge a relationship with Guarantee directly and shoving owena Oil and Gas out of the picture...hence why the permission to use of Guarantee's website. The removal of the ORORO ref on the Guarantee website would indicate the Mimko's plan is now defunked. SRSP are now using the same photo of the 'plugged' oil well that was previously only on Guarantees website...So it would appear that Dr Mimimko has shot himself in the foot...and everything is back on track with the board of Owena Oil an Gas running the show and Mimimko's authority, with the control of Owena Oil and Gas's 70% holding, reduced to voting rights only.
