07/9/2015 20:51 | Thanks Bron. Looks like Petrochambers did a report on Ororo for GP in 04 - I wonder when ACES last did anything for GP and whether it was pre-Sirius or not? | sherl0ck
07/9/2015 20:47 | lol. The Ship o' Fools carries on, 0 pence coming. | s2014logiser
07/9/2015 20:26 | Sherlock ..check out accelerated compact energy solutions ltd and who they have worked for ..also check out PETROCHAMBERS LTD .....ACCESS CLIENTELE ON THEIR WEB PAGE ... | bronislav
07/9/2015 19:40 | GP are now ok with the new drill strategy. | sherl0ck
07/9/2015 18:40 | Yes we need to keep drilling new wells anyway to determine the full lateral extent of the field. The preferential cash return comes back into play after each drill is carried out. It is too risky to re enter the existing well anyway and the company have been advised against this, Much to guarantee petroleum's disgust. Another thing to note is that BTG offtake will provide Sirius with cash to speed up the drill programme once the oil is flowing. | share_cruise
07/9/2015 18:33 | Surely this is where Havoc come in | cornishtrader1000
07/9/2015 17:46 | share-cruise... that obviously means they'll have to drill another higher spec well. | htrocka2
07/9/2015 16:02 | Ororo is expected to be multiples of its current estimate. From reading the previous chevron reports and looking at the data, Chevron did not expect such great pressure. The well head could not cope with the pressure encountered and so Chevron could only assess the data and reserves to that depth. The new well head secured by Sirius is more than capable to withstand the pressure | share_cruise
07/9/2015 14:36 | On 310 Ogo, LEK's 2P increased from 275mmb to between 775mmb-1bbn on hitting the deeper sands just 2000 feet further down. Note that the original Chevron drill on Ororo in 1986 had to be stopped at 11k feet because of very high pressure. No OWC in the upper zones indicate a huge amount of O&G sitting at same depth as on Ogo field. A £100m bauble relative to the value of the main asset lying adjacent to 95. | dr rosso
07/9/2015 14:24 | ororo is nothing to be sneezed at... take a quick look at 0ml 113, just north of oml 95. Originally surveyed at 3,700 bopd back in 1997.After more survey work was found to contain a 72m of vertical hight reservoir and now has a new production target of 19,000 bopd. The bod never told us mushrooms what was in 7th and deepest ORORO sands. You can bet your bottom dollar that ORORO is hardly a 'bauble'. | htrocka2
07/9/2015 13:57 | Even some of the dimwits on here must realise that the prolonged waiting has nothing to do with Ororo. | dr rosso
07/9/2015 12:42 | At this rate you probably wouldn't wake up. | bsg
07/9/2015 11:50 | I want to be like Sleeping Beauty, and not wake up until it's all over. The time will pass quicker if I can sleep through it all... | ropot
07/9/2015 10:09 | Yes 3 months from funding to first oil according to the bod, a good sign lekoil have done it though maybe we'll be next, I'd personally prefer a sale of the company and a quick exit now not a long drawn out production regime but either way we will be far better off than now. | thundercat1
07/9/2015 10:03 | I believe Bobo stated a 3 month timeline for Ororo | mrbean5000
07/9/2015 09:46 | I see it says it took them 9 months from jv to first oil looks like we are a way off yet. | topgun1000
07/9/2015 09:23 | god that would be nice wouldn't it...common Bobo, pull that finger out ! | mrbean5000
07/9/2015 09:04 | Worth a read..Lekoil has gone from explorer to producer.. and is currently top of the leader board.....srsp next? | htrocka2
07/9/2015 07:05 | I'll be the glad the day this pays off which it will do and all the haters have to eat humble pie, I just hope they don't hold shares here and miss out on what's coming, of course once we get to our goals here they won't be seen for dust and they will get there payback I'm sure good luck holders. | topgun1000 |
