NMRN,

The Trolls are rattled.......just ignore them.

Concentrate on trading this..........they are trying to distract from the share price movements.

Don't feed the Trolls...........concentrate on the share price which is BOOOMMING on zero news.

Hi PPVN

Just to say that your posts have contributed greatly to my own understanding of my investment here... many thanks. I have been invested in SXX for about 8-9 years now (an initial naive believer in their tales of underground wind storage caverns in North Dakota!!), and have kept up with the content on 3 different boards, most days, and have to say that yours are some of the most useful, well-written and insightful posts for a number of years (sorry if that sounds cloyingly sycophantic :)

You seem a little reluctant to remain above the parapet here - can't say I blame you - but I for one do hope you do continue posting somewhere - I was intrigued to hear more about other investments (or approaches to investing) you might have. I freely admit that I got very lucky with sxx through no great diligence or insight of my own - except perhaps to spot that the calibre of the ex-Fortescue management suddenly being brought in to the original fledgling company was very much out of step with its previous performance and capitalisation. Clinging on to my shares here now with white knuckles (and whiter hair than I used to have :)

Everyone is entitled to post. If you don't like what they have to say, use the filter. That is why it exists.

It is not for anyone to take the high moral ground and think they are better than the rest. Read her post and, in my opinion, sanctimonious is the most appropriate adjective.

All IMHO,

NMRN

(See, I can use big words as well as succinct brutality!)

Let's play nicely for the rest of the day. Well, opening time in 11% case! :)

PPVN Look forward to your post tomorrow.
As we all know these boards are supposed to be ....at their best....a way to help fellow shareholders share information.
It doesn't matter how long you have been in this game,I find there is always more to learn.
Again because this bb had the word 'moderated' in its title people, perhaps, made the mistake of thinking it was fair.
To my mind it had been turned into a traders billboard,of the worst kind.
If PPVN can at the very least, bring the bb back to a sensible place, that on it's own is enough for me.

Not only that he has provided some interesting detail, from his experience and that is very valuable.
Thanks.

Don t stop PPVN. Your posts are the most interesting and useful posts I have ever read on advfn. Most of the posts (including most of mine), are usually waffle.I filter the likes on 11% etc. Please keep it going.

Evening 11%. I wouldn't usually do this as I'm going to sound jolly sanctimonious and I shall also probably be deviating a little from this particular share a bit, albeit briefly. Tomorrow I'll write a few generic points about I look for personally when I'm looking at shares; all investing is really is balancing of probabilities but in order to do that it helps to stack the deck in your favour. By that I mean invest in things that it can be proved should move the way you expect. The above post (and no disrespect to the author, lots of people put faith in technical analysis. It's just that the above in essence states to buy this because it is rising, and then drops are to be expected when it extends too far above an average point, but maybe it'll happen but maybe it won't. Not too clever really in my opinion). I'll explain why on 13th Feb I mentioned that I expected a rise here. Everything I write (why on 20th Dec I said we wouldn't go lower, again on 14th Jan when our update came out and confirmed we had a two month delay out of three months yet still we didn't fall), the clues can all be there for interpretation and none should be used in isolation. If the drop today was purely technical, then I'm the Queen of Sheba. It wasn't, but had it been, why wasn't it acted on or advised sooner. It's dangerous to think that by simply looking at a graph that predictions can be made because they cannot, if TA is to be applied it needs to be applied in the correct context and incorrectly doing so frustrates me. TA can assist in some instances but it is important to identify when it is appropriate to use technical analysis and in what ranges it can be appropriate. It can help identify timing of purchases or sales, but in my opinion little else. And I say this in particular with relation to sirius because technicals have not and will not dictate our direction. I appreciate you are trying to help beeezzz, so I shall attempt to help you. I have a little time on my hands at the moment so there we go. Speak tomorrow.

Has there been more off take agreements or is anticipation of one driving the SP

==================

There is no news.

The share price has just taken off.

This post from the blue thread explains it well.

No the reason is pure technical .

Quite often you get a nice breakout with reasonable sentiment . Once sentiment gets stretched ie over 75 plus on the RSI ( relative strength index) You get sellers taking profits as the breakout gets over heated , if the 200 day moving average gets supported traders will be probably buying the dip .

Its all normal .

I would be happy if we stay above a tested support and then continue the trend which I personally believe we will .

26.7p is the 200 day moving average , that I have as a good barometer of this trend . A close above is bullish and currently we are . As RSI cools off and hopefully refuels for the next leg into the 30s . RSI can stay high for a long time so I'd expect sentiment to come back into the stock as in the previous 3 recent major spikes

If am wrong am out in profit at around 25.5 p

PPVN, thanks a lot for your informative posts, I rarely looked in here as it was infected by self obsessed fantasists with posting OCD.
