No expert here but I am guessing this offer period is to stop ANOther co. putting in a lowball offer. i.e. giving SPH some breathing space.
Is that possible or likely?

This-I have never seen such a lack of activity, enthusiasm or trading surrounding any take over offer-will hopefully fizzle out and then the company should get on with the business of growing it's client base under a new CEO.

There was more price action going on before China Grand declared an interest in Sinclair, I reckon they will make some sort of offer,a low one as a starting point.

Just read something about Simon Cowell having a silhouette soft procedure done, doubt it will help the share price but maybe shows that thread lifts are becoming more mainstream.

Ditto. Tesco was getting loads recently due to its merger with Booker
It gets a bit annoying if you’re working with one screen dealit & live feeds here have been sketchy at best lately so you can end up losing the order book to look at one of those forms.As far as I know they have no bearing on the price action .
