The trading update was solid enough, the Chinese interest is a bonus, if nothing comes from it Sinclair can still move forward regardless, might even work out better in the long run for shareholders IMO

Agree, but now a hand has been shown I expect others to start snooping and to see renewed interest in the shares.

Might just be that it's so under the radar that nobody's noticed. It's not the busiest of shares at the best of times.

Looks like a bit of a storm in a Chinese tea cup.No follow through and a lot of small sales.The market doesn't think anything's going to come of this approach.Probably reflects an appreciation of Tosca's position and the ability to scupper a bid.

Its an opportunistic approach following a long series of share price falls. Perfectly timed as the sales volumes are showing excellent progress and the bidder can, if successful gain all the benefits in the future without having to experience the pain we long time holders have endured. There are some heavy hitter institutions represented who will want a decent ROI so its hard to speculate what a true take out price will be....hardly surprising then no price has been indicated. Whatever happens we know there is a tangible value in the shares.

With the directors and major shareholders,the total comes to near 70%.This stock isn't going out on the cheap.These institutions have been through a lean old time,they're not about to get mugged.

TOSCA.....What will Tosca make of it?

Did perhaps Tosca push Huadong Medicine Co., Ltd
in Sinclair's direction.Huadong have done deals with "foreign" companies before in respect of distribution etc.Maybe this won't be a takeover rather a merger to facilitate Sinclair's ambitions.I hope so because after all these years,when the company is on the cusp of being profitable,a Chinese predator looks like potentially plucking the flower before it blooms.Tosca will ultimately decide what is an acceptable price for Sinclair,presuming it wants to sell out after all these years of marked underperformance.

So how keen will our institutional holders be to,potentially,end up with Chinese listed equity.Would they stipulate they want cash,i think a cash alternative might be a given.Interesting

times.

Agree has to be around 50p for the board to be entertain it...think with share price being lower the Chinese most likely are prepared for around 50p. They also counter offer will come so it’s in their interest to wrap this up quickly!
