165k shares is quite a magnanimous amount, but I am still in need of convincing about the story here. I see little that is going to make the share price go higher. Any views?

3 million went through this am. Maybe an announcement on directors holding soonest, but most probably too large an amount for that unless Foucher has got a guilty conscience and actually taken a meaningful stake!

Maybe a director, although the two month closed period is no for about another six weeks yet.

I think those 85,000 trades so far are actually buys. I've just put a trial buy order in and was quoted 29p!

*I wonder if that has got GCHQ monitoring my messages now!

Ever get the feeling - "That's it for now" -?
Ther's been lots of activity but the share price ain't really budged.
It's gotta go sometime and I'm sure when it does it will fly. I reckon 45p could be achieved fairly quickly but we will most probably have to wait for some very solid evidence that finally the co is on its way.

Looking at the chart again there was an identical 'breakout' end of April this year which then fizzled out back down to 25p. I'll call it a proper breakout when mid price hits 32p. Then is the time to start slowly filling the boots!

Most probably undervalued as you say but I guess share price wont rise much till this fund raising is sorted. Not that I know a great deal about charts but I think it has a few pence to go before it could be classed as a breakout.

....still way undervalued......trying to re-rate by the looks of it. Price may stabalise ahead of placing, but I see lots of blue sky from here.

I have substantially added since results.

A premium to the market price would suggest that one institution has made it clear ahead of this placing that it wants a large holding in the company and is prepared to pay up to achieve that.No other explanation springs to mind.It's not often that you see a premium placing in the AIM market.Happened with Providence after their recent find in the Celtic sea but that was on the back of pretty transformational news.

I think you're right steeplejack. I thought it a bit strange having a placing at a premium. It's all looking good. Just hope they arn't paying too much for all these licencing deals / distribution agreements generally. although by adding a bit less than £2m EBITA they are buying on a PE of about 5 which aint too bad. I also thought it a bit odd that the latest agreements stand for 100 years! Need to do some research on Valeant. Maybe a future takeover suitor.

Agreed steeplejack...

All positive from SPH, recent announcements underline the great future for this rapidly growing and well run company.

With that as a backdrop it is clear to see why investors are piling in this morning.

Next leg underway, and we are still miles away from Broker target price/s.

Exciting times.

Placing at 28p,the equivalent of a 1:12 AND....it's being done at a premium!Someone has clearly signaled a very real interest at getting a slug of stock.I presume the stock will be placed with institutions but a placing at a premium,a year's high,is bullish stuff.

Shares in issue of 400.8m I would feel that 20.25 would be filled of the brokers books, IMHO this is why the share price is being held back. I feel SPH are a medium to long term punt I like the word growth and more important the markets do.

Googled Tosca. Their performance agaist the FTSE since launch 2 years ago is a bit dismal. Hope their punt on SPH changes that.
Any idea how they just pick up 21.25m shares?

Egg, I use many sites to research. The information that I posted came from Norwich and Peterborough Building Society----home page----share dealing----market information, you do not have to register easy to follow and straight forward good site..
