Today's RNS answers my question post # 329. And I see lage volume again today. just makes me wonder where the shares are coming from to fulfill this demand and when will the supply dry up.
dealit, thanks for that. It's encouraging from the point of view that the downside risk appears to be evaporating. May I ask where you get the brokers target prices. Useful to know!

As I speculated a few days ago these results are saying 'We've done a lot of groundwork and the results of our labours are starting to come through. The results will now be getting better and better'
That said I don't expect the price to shoot up in the short term, maybe a few pence. Afterall there was a huge amount of activity today and no real shift in the price. Maybe the Directors etc topping up now that they can do so.
Good time to buy IMO. I base that on the notion that thse results confirm the downside has been eliminated.

Positive double whammy RNS's today, extremely pleasing and reassuring.

I personally expect a re rating here.

I would also expect buyers to flock in once the market turns blue, and when PIs read the reporting of todays announcements in the rags.

Tough conditions in the UK but excellent progress overseas.Cash flow and eps positive.Comfortable with current financing arrangements,actually debt free overseas.
It's premature to be thinking of dividends but a couple of years down the road it looks very possible and it's the payment of dividends which will ultimately convince investors that this company has finally established a solid and enduring blueprint for growth.These profit figures represent a pivotal moment for Sinclair but i don't see the shares being radically rerated in these risk averse equity markets,i'd be happy to be proved wrong.

As expected.....pleasant reassuring results and a new deal to boot....a lovely win double.

Exciting times for this gem of a company going forward.

I very much get the impression that they have now laid the foundations and we now have to wait for the return. I just feel that it will be still too early to see the benefits of their actions in this set of results. i.e. the share price is not likely to fly up until the city have seen some very positive evidence which hopefully will come later in the next 12 months or so.
I currently view SPH as being one to watch very carefully for the right time to pile in.
IOW (I'm often wrong!!!)

The trading statement in July this year was positive especially growth in Asia, the key thing is the EPS last results stated that it was -1.4 an improvement. Their was an approx bounce of 1.5p after the statement which as fallen back now IMHO share price will do the same if not 2p.

How do you deduce that....an odd conclusion based on guesswork.

You need to research the company more, and in depth............

Just a hunch from looking at the trades and level 2. It doesn't look like the results will be very interesting. Not good nor bad. Most probably 'steady as she goes' or possibly 'jam tomorrow' even!

The worrying bit to my mind is that this am I managed to get an on-line quote to buy 500000 (half a million!). The mm's must have a lot of stock right now.

I would have expected an RNS following the recent buying activity ?

OK! So results coming up soon. Loads of corporate activity last financial year. Directors have large shareholdings and have also during last year been buying more/topping up. Very recent (during closed period)large volume buying by...institutions? or whoever. Price still pretty much at an all time low.
It's a no brainer......Or is it????
