Again off topic but has any paid poster been prosecuted for deliberately, and knowingly, being misleading on these boards or on social media sites like X ? There must be relevant laws covering it!

Apropos nothing in particular, and no inference intended, but what are the "white collar" crime extraditions arrangements between South Africa and the UK?

SKA obviously consider today's news very material.

Significant news today not really appreciated by the market so far, the dispute has been a drag on progress, now settled.

More news has been telegraphed via recent interviews.

Today's settlement at Rukwa paves the way for some form of corporate move there, maybe a disposal.

They have settled a legacy matter that has been an obstruction and a nuisance for a very long time for a modest cash sum.

Believe Noble Helium's (ASX: NHE) North Rukwa Mbelele discoveries even closer, almost adjacent, to Shuka Minerals (LSE: SKA) sites than Helium One's discoveries (LSE: HE1) - interesting times indeed!

SKA is currently a shell based on £6m m/cap, the plan is to inject a near production project into the shell, all funding, unlike other AIM listed vehicles, will come from QGC Fund, this means all the costly and time consuming studies (used to secure bank finance) will not be needed.

The purpose of the listing is to reward shareholders, 50% is owned by management so they will be the main beneficiaries, the warrants are priced at 25p and expire end June if I recall.

I think the long wait for news will be over shortly.

Nigh impossible to buy online currently.

Why are we assuming a rocket in the SP? Is it just because of the warrant price? The fact that they're going to use SKA as a vehicle for whatever asset it is they're planning to buy doesn't make SKA any more valuable. If the mining site being purchased is a serious bargain why share it with the other 50% shareholders? Why not just buy it privately?? What am I missing??

" We have been spending a lot of time finalizing the due diligence and documentation for an asset which we are looking to acquire..."

@JB_MiningAfrica said during an interview with @RoastPR at the #miningindaba2024.

Re the above post I agree, took some more yesterday, the market makers seem to be edgy as they only have £3k of shares on offer currently.

I believe this is poised for a large % move soon enough.

That interview was the most direct I have ever heard from a CEO without actually telling the market via RNS, one suspects few have latched on or are unaware.

The delay down to meticulous due diligence - now completed
The new project will be 'well received' by the market
No reverse takeover triggered, no suspension
Funding will come from internal sources

This is a £6m m/cap company, management have warrants that expire mid year priced at 25p

There is very little time to get onboard here, remember the shares hit 15p last August, what price once the deal is announced 20p/30p ??

I agree, there are plenty of other good reasons to be buying this stock.
Highest volume too since the name change. Perhaps investors are twigging on.

I suspect some of the buying today was not entirely down to the Helium situation.

In this interview released 1 hour ago Jason Brewer is very explicit and confirms the deal they are doing for Shuka will be 'well received' by the market, he adds the deal will not trigger the reverse takeover situation (avoiding temporary suspension) and the delay in presenting it to the market is down to thorough scrutiny by the Nomad and due diligence, it looks like the delay will end soon.

It does look like news is imminent therefore.

Shuka is mentioned after 9 minutes.
