03/6/2013 22:34 | Good evening Bracke & Penycae Just checking in. Still up to my eyes on the refurb. Hope its going well for you both. Night night. | babywolf
03/6/2013 11:54 | Good day Penycae Summer is here.....for the time being. Volatile markets good to trade if you get it right. | bracke
03/6/2013 10:00 | Morning all. Just got back from a walk with the hounds. Beautiful day, made even better by holding some cable and gold longs over the weekend. Gold is a hard one to call at the moment, but well worth a punt when the planets line up. It was sold off like crazy on Friday, which gave the buy signal near the close. Same with cable. Closed all sb's now. Not doing anything more until this evening. | penycae
30/5/2013 17:16 | El C - yep. Some of his stuff is AAA+ Probably comes from the fact that his Gran was Welsh. I remember her from when she used to get going down the Drum and Monkey - honest! | penycae
30/5/2013 17:12 | Dr House innit | el chupacabra
30/5/2013 17:11 | "This guy has impressed me of late....." ==================== I couldn't see Baldrick in the group with his triangle. | bracke
30/5/2013 17:09 | If they are anything like the dirge they should come with a mental health warning! I thought with music like that he might be Welsh but I read he is Scottish now living in the USA. Surprised they haven't deported him for causing widespread doom, gloom and depression. | bracke
30/5/2013 17:06 | This guy has impressed me of late..... http://youtu.be/LV1Y | penycae
30/5/2013 17:00 | Just watch I don't lay the lyrics on ya! | penycae
30/5/2013 16:55 | Penycae I was doing ok until I listened to your offering........now I am surrounded by black dogs. | bracke
30/5/2013 16:51 | Something different...... http://youtu.be/FXtb | penycae
24/5/2013 11:51 | Babywolf Such are the trials and tribulations of life. Trading ok but need to be very careful it's a volatile market. | bracke
24/5/2013 11:25 | Thanks for the above Bracke. I know it is all true and I take some comfort from it. | babywolf
24/5/2013 10:50 | Good day Babywolf Just concentrate on the renovations the market is always there as are opportunities. Understandable that you look back with 'if only' thoughts we all do it in the early days but realise there is no point to it and learn to look forward. The only point in looking back is to analyse why the trade went wrong, learn from it, remember it and apply what you learn. It's a continuing process as is observing the market and charts and building knowledge and expierience. I don't envy you the renovation. I did similar some years back and would not want to repeat. Weekends for two years were work on house. | bracke
24/5/2013 10:15 | Good morning Penycae, Bracke & WatteNe How are you? Am checking up from time to time to see what the markets are doing but certain deadlines on the renovation of my future home are calling for my total attention. How is your respective trading going? Penycae - am I remembering correctly - did you renovate part or all of Penycae Towers? | babywolf
23/5/2013 08:41 | Morning all. Me and the monkey are irritating folk on the BP thread again this morning. How's it all going here? | penycae
15/5/2013 10:43 | Good day Babywolf It seems the name of the game is reduced currency value whether by QE and/or interest rate reduction. Where it all ends I don't know but I suspect it will not be for the good. | bracke
14/5/2013 22:31 | Just checking in before bed time - good to read your posts. The rises take my breath away (in a bad way..) When I wrote post 2041 on April 10th ("Looks like the bloody DOW is heading up for the 15,000 mark The Nikkei would have been a good one to trade once Japan announced QE too") the Nikkei was at the 13,200-300 mark and its now over 15,000 - risen nearly 2,000 points in 5 weeks!! My heart sinks. As I posted a couple of weeks ago, I have a little capital saved for the right trade at the right time - like you Bracke, I don't expect to know when that exact moment is but hope to make some profit on it. Good luck to you all and Penycae, please post one of your youtube links soon. Good night. | babywolf
14/5/2013 21:16 | FTSE hit 6700 tonight. Old high of 6751 needs to be taken, then they might let it go. This is a very dangerous game they're playing. Started to build some shorts in Europe. Not touching the DOW, DAX or FTSE just yet. | penycae
14/5/2013 16:18 | I don't expect to catch much of the first leg down when it comes. As usually occurs it is unlikely to be 'flagged' in advance. My objective is to keep the cash handy so that when the time comes I am able to take advantage. In the meantime I trade intraday with care. | bracke
14/5/2013 16:09 | It will end in tears, as before. The things I trade are all out of position with each other. I've not seen such a mess since sub prime, although this time around the situation is designed to send the markets upwards. No point taking a contrarian view. Might just as well stand in front of an express train. Just got to watch that pile of money steadily growing, then walk over and pick it up - when the time is right, of course. | penycae
14/5/2013 15:58 | Good afternoon Penycae $85 billion a month, after month, after month, etc is a lot of cash to pump into the market. Problem is that the market has got used to it and expects it. Question is what happens when it ceases albeit gradually. | bracke
14/5/2013 15:48 | Afternoon all. This POMO sure plays havoc with the charts. Knocks out all the signals. Clear sale indicators knocked for six when that wall of money hits the market. Buying the dips is paying off at the moment, but I can't bring myself to join the herd. This is going to hurt a lot of people when it unravels. Just watched Spain put on 120 points in under three hours, at a time when the Government is sequestrating repossessed homes to give to the unemployed. | penycae
11/5/2013 17:58 | pfft Chanos isn't even on teh forbes 400 list! why is he so anti PC lately anyway. do you think he gets a lot of blue screens of death? still no header chart i note | el chupacabra |
