My morning routine - about 7.30 i get up, go to the laptop and check the 7am RNSs hoping to see STX announcing an US deal.

Disappointed i go downstairs to make a cup of tea. I've been doing this for months now.

Yes indeed frrinvest. I would imagine that the major shareholders here are going to expect a positive outcome before the calendar year is out.
I have had my finger over the buy button a few times in the past week, but have held back so far. I cannot decide between topping up here or one of a couple of other stocks I hold that I feel might also be on the cusp of a decent re-rate.
Come on BOD, take the decision out of my hands please! :)

Well, I would say we have a maximum of three weeks left, after which point we are likely looking at late January for a deal announcement.
Not that I am getting impatient, or anything... :)

On a half decent deal I am expecting 180-190p with possible variation either side depending on the actual terms. Just IMHO and of course the proof of the pudding is in the eating!

I’m new to STX . When the US distribution partner is announced hopefully soon , what are your considered expectations of the current share price increase percentage ?. Or does it rather depend on the conditions agreed I guess? thanks

have to agree with Lako - frustration is indeed the word.
If 2020 timeframe is to be met then next 2 to 3 weeks are crucial IMHO. Good to get this done before Thanksgiving on 26th Nov.
I do wonder if the slippage is due to a potential friendly takeover offer which will take longer to agree - remember HZD just sold at a 108% premium.
Seems to be a bit more news/gossip circulating re STX so hopefully that's good news.

I don’t think that smell is money it’s more like something passed by a bull if you get my drift
Average daily volume always leads price so that will be your clue to a proper breakout
When the price rises on good volume that’s the tipping point

Yes after a spate of buys Nobby (inc. mine) they dropped the price a wee bit. They are playing about so must be getting close to the line.

NBG I’ve been invested in OPTI for around 3 years now while I still see potential I’m not a fan of how they operate with minimum financial detail on most deals I get the feeling the royalties on partner sales are minimal at best
