Strictly solely from trading and Chart perspective 49/50 area is a good trading opportunity in OPTI but not a company I can worm to.
Notfan of how they communicate and very light on numbers

there is always a possibility that when (if??) an US deal gets announced it will be at 1pm and not 7am to coincide with our US partner.
So although i get disappointed every morning when there is no RNS from STX there is still some hope that a deal could drop later in the day.
Could the US election have any influence?? Guessing not but WTFDIK

So two 10k buys which have probably driven the move today as the MMs knew there was someone looking to buy in volume.

You are correct that for now OPTI share price is not good. However, I have done thorough research (the Guild thread has great information) and I am sure as I can be that in two years time the price will be many multiples of the price now. The business model of intel inside is second to none and although it means a long lag time, a dramatic increase in revenues is only a matter of time. For me it is an absolute no brainer as a long term hold for that reason. Yes I will trade around the edges like I always do but I am certain I will make a large amount of money. I am lucky in that my average price is almost exactly at the current price and there will be many who are well underwater.

All just IMHO and no investment advice intended.

A bit of movement today on STX. We must be getting close to an announcement?
Another RNS on Monday - LOL!

Been in OPTI and got out in the 70s a while back. Concept is good but as far as share price is concerned its a dead duck. Maybe some day it will get to realise its 'potential' but long term AIM stocks are generally dead as I have found to my cost. STX and DNL are a rarity to have obtained an FDA approval. On fundamentals, both worth at least twice their current share price so I am hanging to both + 4D Pharma as its one of the most exciting stocks with the greatest potential in the market. No guarantees, just my own opinion as I am invested in all three. GL!

For the medium term the company I am most interested in is OPTI. They are the best company I have ever seen in my long investing experience and is my biggest holding, even bigger than SNG. It is difficult to tell when the market will give the company a proper valuation which is why I say medium term but in a couple of years time it will be many multiples of today's price IMHO.

Apparently a large sell but it didn't move any of the MMs off the 125p bid!

Winterfloods moved the bid up after the first 3k buy this morning. Looking encouraging for a further rise today.

Nobby, i thought the tick up might be due to my morning top up at 126.25 but then saw 3 large sells at lunchtime!! Hopefully it bodes well but you can never tell with this share. Hopefully all LTHs will be rewarded - soon

128p paid so it would appear the price is about to move up. Maybe famous last words....

Rising highs and rising lows on the chart since March Nice to see a clear rising trend in place .
Choppy trade on thin volume so it still seems below the radar for the Robbin Hood crowd ?
In my view the patent challenge would have made driving a good distribution deal or anything else eg T.o. out of the question
So it’s taken a long time because someone was standing on our braces so to speak
The mm s can and do walk prices up and down to stimulate trade
The price is stock still This reminds me that it’s a taunt bow string When the lid blows off the price will do one of two things very rapidly

Interesting. I have been monitoring the offer quotes all morning for a small amount of shares. It has just jumped to 1.2775 from 1.261 earlier...

whilst in negotiations we know that STX can't communicate to investors so there is no point moaning about it.
Share price is holding up well on low volumes - not sure if this is a positive indicator or that even the MMs are now bored with this share.
This is so frustrating but still hopeful something will materialise in the next few weeks

But on a positive note there is a steady trickle of buys; I was responsible for a couple of them yesterday. One advantage of the delay is that I have amassed many more shares than I otherwise would have done and also traded a number at a very good profit. I remain confident that a deal will come and it is just a matter of time.

So let's remain positive!

Roaring into November with a real consistency. Zero communication, no deal and 1 month on from the last failed deadline.

Lovely

I wonder what the employees/management/directors think when they read these comments/discussions...?

They know that the share price gets moved by the interaction between retail investors and the market makers.

It's difficult to see how the current CEO would survive a no-deal outcome given his previous assurances, Anyone parachuted in to fill the role would make their own decision on financing. Given the very low revenues currently generated, I imagine that non-dilutive finance would come with significant strings attached.

Well NBG experience tells me no matter how Credible or not you you deem a CEO and is team when it comes to a placing I’m sure you have seen it many times when a company completely back tracks on a previous comment regarding placing not needed.
DNL recent Placing was totally out of the blue having stated funded through to probability I would certainly have less confidence in this senior Managment team based on the last 12 months of shenanigans and under performance and The H2H debacle.

In the last interview the CEO said there wouldn't be any fund raising if it came to that. He talked about debt or invoice financing. So I really don't think worry about a placing is a reason to sell. Of course you can never say never on Aim but you have to take him at his word.

Henley - or an alternative view is that negotiations have been complicated as one or more companies want to to purchase STX as a whole.
That would explain the delay and why things like the European patent challenge would be a potential issue - now resolved.
Notice HZD got taken out yesterday at over 100% premium to current share price. A similar deal could easily happen with STX IMHO.
Yes, the delay is massively frustrating but keep the faith!

Of course, the alternative scenario is that no acceptable offer has been made which matches the valuation placed on the drug by our BOD.
Meanwhile, Q1 2021 approaches and the cash position is getting tight.
