15/10/2018 16:50 | £50,000 is a lot of money. cash positive + growing order book = increased share price could be a punt on SWG popping back up to 5p - that would provide a nice £10k profit if the intention of the 1.3 m buyer is to make a quick profit too rich for me though - I'm here for the long term with this one | cheekyfella
15/10/2018 16:37 | 1.3m buy there cheeky - inside info on the outcome of the offerings or just belief in the company? | husbod
15/10/2018 13:21 | Fingers crossed cheeky that there was a good take up.Don't want to think of the effects on the share price if both offers were undersubscribed. | husbod
15/10/2018 09:48 | Not long to go now. Announcement of the results of the Open Offer tomorrow. Acquisition completed Wednesday. | cheekyfella
12/10/2018 12:06 | hopefully! be much more interesting if the wider market has calmed down as well | cheekyfella
12/10/2018 10:52 | A few nice "chunky" buys this morning. Wednesday next week will be 'interesting' me thinks !! | channel pirate
11/10/2018 13:29 | not too long to wait now until all is revealed | cheekyfella
11/10/2018 12:36 | cheeky, can't remember where I seen it but thought I seen something to the effect that the Institutional offer was already oversubscribed (subject to the general meeting saying "yes") - that bodes well for us minnows | channel pirate
11/10/2018 10:57 | I'm long here c p. If I get the extra I applied for in the offer I will have 250k at circa 4p. | cheekyfella
11/10/2018 10:06 | cheeky, you will still be able to make a good profit from buying at 3.6p even if the shares fall below this price in my opinion. Me - then I have just over 600K shares now but will add if the buying price falls below 3.6p | channel pirate
11/10/2018 09:48 | will be interesting to see how many additional shares applied for are granted next couple of weeks will be interesting | cheekyfella
11/10/2018 08:54 | 3.7 to buy no cheap offers | nw99
11/10/2018 08:54 | Buying as many as I can if come cheaper | nw99
11/10/2018 08:42 | Markets not ideal tbh.Wishing I hadn't applied for extra shares in the offer as it looks like they will be cheaper on the open market. | cheekyfella
08/10/2018 16:26 | looks like this could fly very soon | jammytass
04/10/2018 10:31 | I have applied for my entitlement of 14582 shares after all, which is the total between both my ISA and Ordinary accounts. I have done so after talking to my broker who advises that although I have already spent my £20K ISA allowance this Tax Year, I am still able to buy the ISA entitlement of shares and put the shares into the Ordinary account, with the cash purchase total of both accounts being taken from my Ordinary account. Didn't ask for extra shares as thought the open offer would probably be well subscribed and only a few if any would be available. So, I added a further 75,001 shares yesterday at 3.80p anyway G.L.A. | channel pirate
03/10/2018 11:19 | have applied for an additional 48,612 shares in the offer - that took me to the limit of what I had available to spend in my ISA - be interesting to see how many extra shares I am granted -- if indeed any at all | cheekyfella
01/10/2018 21:19 | good luck - think we could be onto a decent thing here time as ever will tell just hope the macro economic picture which looks ever gloomier doesn't screw things up | cheekyfella
01/10/2018 18:58 | That's why I am here, namely to try and recoup some of it and ease the pain each time I think about it. It's history now, stitched up by the MD — sh!t happens. | channel pirate
01/10/2018 18:13 | channel pirate... sorry to read about your loss. That's a big hit. Think I would have lost faith in the market and looked at other avenues to make money from investing. | cheekyfella
01/10/2018 18:10 | You should be able to apply for more than your allocation in which case any slack will be picked up that way. | cheekyfella
01/10/2018 17:09 | Institutions were hungry for the shares so we lost out . | nw99
01/10/2018 16:44 | It's just a pity they only allocated £1m to the open offer as I would certainly have bought more than my entitlement and I suspect many others would too. What happens though if some investors do not take up their entitlement as will inevitably be the case? Are those shares simply not issued and the cash foregone. Surely it would have been better just to let peeps bid for as many as they want and then scale down if it is oversubscribed. | husbod
01/10/2018 16:05 | Hi cheekyfella - yes agree, my holding is not very big. My strategy - A few years ago I lost £250,000 when the company it was invested in de-listed from the stock market, so that wiped me out completely and I have had to build up my holdings again, this time with more caution. | channel pirate
01/10/2018 15:14 | channel pirate - your holding is relatively modest so fair enough each to their own buying strategy main thing is that once the deal is worked through SWG moves onwards and upwards | cheekyfella |
