If that's what your take away is from that then I don't think there's any point Redhill.

So by that admission you would have stockpiled 3 times as much useless emulsion and charging units!

Not sweating on anything. Have held for years and have no reason not to hold until value is achieved.

Firstly i never expected them to achieve more than about 60000 oz this year.
When they have produced some 42500 oz in the first 3 quarters they would have to mine over 17500oz in the final quarter. Realistic as guidance for next year is 75000oz or 18500oz per Q and not very likely to mine 22000oz + to hit top of guidance.
That said a reduction of say another 4000 oz this year is not the end of the world provided that they can kick on next year..
We shall have to wait until the first few weeks of January 2022 to get next years guidance.
Does nothing for credibility but whether it could have been avoided is just guesswork.

kennyp52, the difficulty will be generating consistent performance over the next 2 or 3 years while WK is developed. NLGM needs LoM expansion which involves opening up new seams and sources. They have enough to go at but it's much less straightforward than continuing to dig where you are. Commencing production at a new mine, Singida, is seldom trouble free.

Yet you are still here .Who's the stupid one if you believe what you are saying!

Because I am not exposed as a % of total portfolio so can wait for a recovery and it was already down 20% by the time PI's had a chance to react ! It seems you are massively exposed on this one and sweating like a Pee Eye Gee ?

Why stay in ... because its not going bust and has huge fundamental value if the board can actually give us a decent error free period it might reach something like a reasonable MCAP. Is that a simple enough answer for you ?

As Plat says .. to blame a supplier with $24m in the bank and lose up to 10,000 ounces of gold production by not having risk assessed this eventuality is just pathetic. How many people on here think directors put on their hard hats and pick up a shovel ? How much administration do they think a mine needs ? Exactly - they have masses of time to make sure things like this do not happen or are minimised.

Just think about it redhill, circa 30% guidance miss on production/revenue and 50% increase in costs. What else is there that I've missed to replace that lost value?

Looking at the share trades going through you get the impression that a large sell is being cleared.

I believe in his last interview Eric alluded to bringing in another milling machine but was waiting on a board decision.

Today's RNS was saying that due to underground production problems they have had to use the ore solely from open pit & stockpile.

The actual impact of an event like this is small in comparison to the big picture - a delay to mining the mineral for a few weeks with sunk costs that won't be recovered.

The real damage is reputational and that can manifest itself in a variety of ways. Firstly is the reduction in share price which could impact the cost of funding WK if we don't recover by the time the Funding Statement is issued. Second will be our ability to borrow at competitive rates. Third will be our ability to do deals with third parties.

The next 18 months is critical. We need to recover the price in preparation for WK. It will mean no slips, trips or other accidents. A tall order when you are building a new mine at Singida. This is where we will find what Eric is made of.

So, Eric should install another milling machine and then continue clearing out the lower grade ores in order to increase gold output then can start processing the higher grades in Q2 2022 onwards

Many of you have claimed to be able to read the message from Eric in today's RNS... But I think you still misunderstood... the real message is that the tonnage production meets the target... but due to lower grade is being prioritised then the overall pure gold production is less than expected... That's my understanding!

Don't take too much notice of the buy and sell figures as they are based on mid price and delayed buys and sells can also distort them.
