When TG stops charging VAT...shanta will earn $85 extra profit per oz

VAT refund or offset will add nice toppings

Lower PoG will remove the cost of hedging as well...shanta can deliver bigger profit in Q3 providing the quarterly production meets the target

Meanwhile, in the real world......

A sharp rise always results in a correction back to a trend line and Shanta has risen well, even if not as well as some in the gold sector. The pull back would have come anyway but often requires a 'reason' to do so. In this case that is a gold pull back. Given the set ups I suspect it may take some while for gold to move forward significantly from here. The question is whether it experiences a short, sharp correction or a shallower, more drawn out process. I suspect that it is the latter but cannot rule out the former.

2020 still looks very promising for gold and SHG will be heading for a debt free existence at that point.

Drop out of all proportion to the drop in the gold price but hey ho the MM's were always short of stock and they will take it back as cheaply as possible.

AISC .. the clue is in the abbreviation ... All In Sustaining Costs . Labour can be a relatively small part of this percentage AUGUSTUS as I am pretty sure you will already know. If you don’t then you are better off down William Hills . Theft and bribes ... your evidence ? Your goal ? Your life ?

It would be up to Shanta to sue him. Of course, AG could seek to prove that his statements are true as a defence but I think that we can be reasonably confident that he has no evidence to back up his statements. He is the archetypal 'keyboard warrior'.
