17/10/2019 10:57 | Listened to the call. They are clearly upbeat and positive, particularly about the exploration and the ability to replace resources as they are consumed. However, no change to the VAT situation. There was a strong question about a potential dividend with the comparison to AAZ (didn't catch who the questioner was). It seems like the obvious path. | jc2706
17/10/2019 10:04 | Hazl , you are a most aggressive woman. i have liked this share and been here a long time . It has been the hedge that I dont like and have argued against and it is the achilles heel of the share price . Calm down woman | juju44
17/10/2019 09:48 | also, potential saving of $5.5 million from electricity bills by connecting to the national grid 👍... cost per unit reduces from 21 cents to 10 cents USD... So far they spend around $1m per month or over $11m a year | 338
17/10/2019 09:25 | Talking about possible future dividends. All looks very good. | fitton
17/10/2019 09:21 | post 31670 juju... disgraceful turncoat as usual | hazl
17/10/2019 09:20 | Good ol' Shanta. | hazl
17/10/2019 09:17 | Main thing to report is that Shanta still believe the VAT will happen. | fitton
17/10/2019 08:57 | Juju44,I do think they are reaching the point where they will be reducing their hedge to a much lower percentage of production. With the gold price sitting much higher now and looking to stay at higher levels this will be ideal for Shanta :-)Cheers,Niels | nielsc
17/10/2019 08:33 | Anyone dialling in to listen to call? Let's hope someone asks the VAT question as well!! | qs99
17/10/2019 08:26 | Get back the VAT and... | goodgrief
17/10/2019 07:57 | This is a good report and drilling results are great . Work off this hedge now and we have a decent company here | juju44
17/10/2019 07:36 | I have seen a lot of much less viable companies valued at much more money.Debt coming down fast, best for 6 years.Should double from here over the next few months | fitton
17/10/2019 07:30 | Makes a nice change for SHG to be on the leader board!! | qs99
17/10/2019 07:17 | any sign of a VAT refund and this should be 20p DYOR!! | qs99
17/10/2019 07:16 | Huge spread currently. | nielsc
17/10/2019 07:15 | Will be debt free in 2020 if they continue at this rate. Hopefully the gold price is going to continue higher which can only help Shanta as they reduce their forward sales of gold.Cheers,Niels | nielsc
17/10/2019 07:12 | should be north of 10p IMO..... | qs99
17/10/2019 07:05 | Good update without being spectacular. The facility seems to be operating nicely with a return to a more consistent grade. Interesting that they have increased the ROM material with higher grade ore (I make it 6.43g/t overall without taking into account any they may have used in the blend). VAT receivable now higher than gross debt. | jc2706
