Fitton, I think the market has written off VAT. I wonder what is the total VAT the government has repatriated? If it pays one .....

This analysis suggest PoG will hit all time high in a year approximately

Don't forget the market makers would appear to be short of stock so will lower the bid hence the ridiculous spread at the close.

AG,

When the debts get clear out, the total liabilities should be less than 50% or under $35m in Q2 2019

PoG is expected to be $1600+ in coming months if not weeks 👍

Lots of interesting opinions on Shanta.I have done some more research and I think even if gold retracts by $200, Shanta is still a very good buy.The company has turned a big corner and with the potential of lower debts,a possible vat refund and gold still very strong the future is looking good.I totally understand investors being cautious but I think the next 6 months could be very good in terms of share price performance.

Augustusloop you do not understand what has been explained to you on several occasions. The sales are reflected in current POG and the cash flows in . The hedge is a bad retrospective decision but the price agreed can also be retrospectively met so they are having to reflect this by making a hedge reserve ( thus matching net realisable revenues to current costs ) . The parties can agree how this can be met and it is almost certainly going to be non cash . What it does mean is they can enjoy current POG via cash flow but there is a cost later . They would be better of buying themselves out of the hedge with June 2020 futures trading at $1538.50 . They can surely satisfy it with bullion from the inventory which will be valued at cost but on “sale” would be worth the current POG in future accounts with the hedge reserve having already been accounted for ( if covering the whole of the hedge ) . It’s a very conservative old trick ... get all the bad news out of the way in one foul swoop. Anyway ... have a nice glass of red .. if you are invested here you will be just fine and all this stressing and ranting cannot be doing you much good .

While excessive enthusiasm is expected on this board at the moment, and not wishing to dampen my joy at the long awaited rebound, just remember: JP Morgan; US/China trade deal and POG.

Just a thought before you order your Ferrari.

Yes its part of the finance expense in the p & l . Not the balance sheet. I meant the accounts.

Most of that is of course interest.

Its not rolled over for free. There must be a clause in the contract that allows it to be rolled over for a commission.

Anyway whats the big deal. We have been over this for at least a thousand times recently. I'm sure the finance director has it all in hand.

AG,

We should not concern if the costs to roll over is only hundred of thousands pound, agree?
