AG,

You should combine non-current and current liabilities altogether, which is reducing.

Some of the current liabilities were transferred from non-current, actually.

Yes cash increasing and loans reducing will be the big highlight for this quarter at present prices.

I'd also like to see some of the hedge worked through.

AG,

Your accounting and maths calculations show how expensive the cost of developing gold mining, especially in a country applying VAT.

What you forgot is that the worst is over, those costs are to be recovered.

It's amazing to see how liitle the money from shareholders were required to complete the journey from the beginning.

As you said many times AG, Shanta should have done placing few times to get where we are now.

But, hey PoG is bullish and could hit new record high.

Placing is not required anymore

You missed future outlook, AG... 😄

You are talking about investors not the company. The company executives have a responsibility to ensure the future of the company and manage the risks accordingly. With this in mind, they put on the hedge. An investor has a choice of whether to invest, the company has much less room to manoeuvre. Should gold have gone against the company with debt repayment due and no hedge then we would be looking at rolling over to much higher cost debt or even worse.

We are in a raging bull market for PMs . I said this when they put on this stupid extended hedge and so it has panned out . Those who back PMs are in it for the metal rises which will drive the miners . If you don't believe in gold you shouldn't be here

hard work

The non-cash charge will not become a cash outflow as it is an opportunity cost rather than a loss.

AG

As you well know it doesn't affect the cash position or the loan reductions.

Company doing very nicely thank you and once again you have failed to take advantage of the increase in the share price so you are pushing your negativity to justify your lost opportunity.

I am hoping Shanta can produce over 85,000 oz in the next 12 months (H2-2019 to H1-2020) and being sold at average price of $1550 per oz

That would break a revenue and cash flow record pushing the share price to above 20p...dyor

Realistic expectation 😁

Like many here, juju44 is a paid for troll. He's been about for years yet some still reply to him. I'm sure it better money than MacDonalds.

The hedging settlement will be in May 2020 or can get rolled over again for another year... Financially the outstanding debts will be cleared out in June 2020 or sooner...

Any other issues, juju44?

Misleading? By suggesting that the hedge was a reasonable insurance policy in the face of a sizable amount of debt to be repaid? When the state of Tanzania would suggest that raising new funds would be difficult and very expensive for the company?

You would rather put the company at risk? Clearly you have never been anywhere near running a company otherwise you would see how ridiculous your statements are. Which is hardly surprising as your only contribution to any board you make is 'why share price not go up?'
