China's yuan hit record low, which could create contagious effects negatively to stock markets but drive PoG up

interesting 338, locked and loaded!

H1 results were out mid-August last year, so that should be a known new RNS coming up IMO...maybe that is accounting for the uptick? as well as POG motoring DYOR

Cheers Chip, I didn't pick up on the fact SHG published it in their Quarterlies. Useful thanks.

Hi RT,

I keep a weekly sheet on COMEX PM paper trading which also includes gold and silver OHLC weekly pricing. So I automatically get quarterly average price readouts.

I also use the Sharescope charting software which provides both LBMA and Spot pricing and thus can easily provide period averages.

In addition, SHG helpfully provide an average spot price in their quarterly reporting (right at the end of the reports with the hedge data).

Hi Chip
Quick question, where do you get the average price from? Do you calculate it or is there an online source available?

They are predicting that they will be in a net cash position by mid 2020 so perhaps they will then phase out their hedging programme. I would certainly hope so.

I note that the current hedges are up to May 2020 so it will be interesting to see if the next 3 quarterlies report any further hedging beyond that date.

Of course, if only they were reimbursed for their outstanding VAT they would already be c. net cash!!
