Came across SHG recently and wanted to do some due diligence and found this thread completely by chance. I had to make an account just to say that I am truly enjoying the discussion between AG and redhill. I probably (or more like definitely) could've used the time doing more productive research but reading this thread was just too much fun. Please keep it going gentlemen. Unfortunately there will only be one supreme victor; may the odds be in your favour.

I'm hoping that we see some fresh ISA money come into the shares this week. 7.2p seemed to be resistance but i think 8p + is quite likely on the 18th.

Haha. Expecting an RNS to say the notes are paid within the next week. Sometime between now & the 13th i guess.

Quarterly update due 18th and AGM on the 24th.

We are in it together. Onwards & upwards.

I played cricket badly at my (not private or a church) school - certainly too badly to consider myself either a batsman or a bowler. I hate long distance running - my least favourite activity.

I think that GoodGrief used the wrong tense in his last post! :-)

AG

What do you mean you don't count golf as a sport ?

Yes i did play football for school and a club and did cross country running for school.

I've got you down for living in Yorkshire, pigeon racing and keeping ferrets.

I'm reckoning AG was home-skooled.

Well 12 out of 17 is not bad. Not difficult to work out that Redhill is south of London.

We must be due the exploration update & strategy very soon. I wonder if they will slip it in before the quarterlies are announced.

They state that because the Exim loan includes $2.5m restricted cash (restricted to working capital) and for simplicity in quarterlies, this restricted cash is included in the Gross Debt calc, rather than cash.

It's no doubt to avoid confusion for massive ducks like Gloopfish...

The last time Gloopfish tried to make a quarterly forecast, was Q3 2017, when his "amusings" forecast an increase in Net Debt of $5m. It actually went down by $2m, so he was only out by $7m.

Let's not forget about the forecasted placings he's predicted every quarter for the last 2yrs too.

goldfish and ducks indeed...

I have to admit though you could have been right about part of the cash being restricted. They now make a point of saying the cash is unrestricted which would leave you to believe some of it was before.
There could have been some onerous conditions which the previous management had to accept to obtain some finance.
