17/6/2018 14:21 | Ok this article is a few weeks old but still very relevant... Rhum well deferral is ‘good news’ for Serica, analysts say | bountyhunter
17/6/2018 14:01 | Lol DH; you missed the 7777 !! that one came around quickly | bountyhunter
17/6/2018 12:43 | I think the market is due a corrrection. If the dollar keeps rising..... It will get one soo er rather than later....perhaps by year end | riot2
17/6/2018 12:22 | Nice shot 're 7777 post, well done chesty. | dunderheed
17/6/2018 12:16 | Fardel I agree completely you bet since January they will have taken options out as they unload there shares and then close there options, thats what the big boys do but once they have done this they will then short the market. | chestnuts
17/6/2018 12:06 | That's my problem though. These large financial institutions are in it for themselves numero uno. I just don't trust them. | fardels bear
17/6/2018 11:57 | Fardel JPM statement, you dont get a bigger name than that, | chestnuts
17/6/2018 11:54 | Thanks for the explanation chestnuts, interesting thoughts. | farmscan
17/6/2018 11:35 | Normally though, before any market adjustment occurs, you see a lot of people, many of whom hope to benefit from their predictions by spooking others. And right now I don't see any. | fardels bear
17/6/2018 11:12 | Farmsacan I dont own any shares i sold every thing a few weeks back as i posted then i think the market is going to crash, To me at first its the charting patterns, if you look at the ftse over roughly 13montha and draw lines over the tops and the bottoms you get a magaphone pattern, which i see as a topping pattern, and if you look at the dow its got the same pattern as 1987 and 1929 , and if you look at alot of the indices they have topping patterns, there is exemptions ie Nasdaq , But with liquidity squeeze in the emerging markets and the rise in interest rates in USA and this is my logic the pensioners put the money because of low interest rates and now they are just below the s&p average of 2.5% and interest rates rising to 2.5% this yr and 3% next yr, they will take there money out enmass and if there is any big day falls the next days will be bigger with the pensioners rushing to get out. | chestnuts
17/6/2018 11:01 | chestnuts: I'm not really able to follow this very well, but in the interest of clarity, are you saying you are not invested in any shares at the moment? or is it just Serica you are fearful for? TIA | farmscan
17/6/2018 09:56 | Iphone app doesn't show post numbers, Dh. | fardels bear
16/6/2018 23:15 | 7767 lol. Edit 7768 lol. | dunderheed
16/6/2018 21:09 | You do make one side of a well reasoned argument, chesty. I'll have to think about it. | fardels bear
16/6/2018 20:47 | Dunderheed I think Serica is an excelant company but if you take 2 matches a live one and a dead one, fill the bath put them in then pull the plug and see what happens | chestnuts
16/6/2018 19:55 | Fardel When i sold i said it was mainly because of the markets as i thought a crash was coming, as you stated that you didnt want to be in the market as no yield from having your money in the banks, well in the USA there is millions of pensioners who bought into the market to get a yield , but the average yield on the s&p 500 is 2,5% now the interest rates are 2% and by the end of this yr they will be 2.5% and by end of 2019 they will be 3% now they will look at that news and wont want to be last man standing as the markets have gone from 6740 to 26666 at the top. I know what i would do, as they will think if the market does crash there is not enough yrs left in there life to recover. | chestnuts
16/6/2018 19:36 | Yeah well that's pessimistic we have an AGM shortly let's see what they say at end of month and where the share price goes from there | nicnic1953
16/6/2018 19:35 | Are you out again, chesty? | fardels bear
16/6/2018 19:05 | The markets are really wobbly at the moment | chestnuts
16/6/2018 17:51 | This is an interesting share, surprised it dipped so much with the deal waiting to complete. If the ofac waiver is sorted it will rocket. Although im sure there is a work around if not. Like use european contractors etc. | riot2
15/6/2018 17:54 | I still think it sways the general sentiment. | farmscan
15/6/2018 17:51 | We are a gas company though, farmscan. | fardels bear
15/6/2018 17:50 | I don't think the market is particularly nervous fwiw.. I think there are people and bodies and groups who like to serve there own ends by creating worries, concerns and uncertainty in others who can't afford losses. | fardels bear
15/6/2018 17:50 | I would have thought today's earlier advance has been curtailed by the oil price falling more than anything. | farmscan |
