The space industry is projected to be worth $1.8 trillion globally by 2035, up from $630 billion in 2023, according to McKinsey.https://bmmagazine.co.uk/in-business/british-space-companies-aim-for-the-stars-with-government-support/

3rd quarter results in the morning. Must be a good chance of a few pence added to nav, I would have thought. In any case, the commentary will be upbeat on portfolio progress.

3 tests and away, been long & arduous :)

Above 80p the next test. And why not.

Strong graph.

Last three recent occasions it hit 60p+, quickly fell back on profit-taking.

Looking very promising to hold this time and make further new two year highs.

Our largest holding raised $93m last week, for growth. I doubt we took part in anything but a nominal way. Hopefully it was at an uplift to carrying value. I would have thought this is a last raise pre IPO or self financed growth. Business does seem to be booming for ICEYE.

New today.
Not to be missed.

Mark Boggett, SSIT CEO, talks to Edison Vantage in 20 minute interview:-

The Chairman reckons it's "a win-win" for SSIT, but I would have liked a bit more detail on the transaction:

#388 - very well done, it's always the buying back after the sale that's tricky.

Won't take much good news to lift SSIT again IMO. Just something to prove the NAV has legs.

Well spotted Ram. Delayed once and could do again unless it can differentiate itself from ispace, by the sounds of the article.

As far as I can see SSIT doesn't indicate what % stake it has (just the % of NAV). If we knew this I guess we could compare revenues (or EBIT) of the 2 companies for a guesstimate of SSIT NAV upside.

Largest holdings keep pumping out good news. Manic share price will continue for a while yet, but eventually settle much nearer to a growing nav.

“Drifting again, a little disappointing in a market this good.“

Private equity not exactly motoring up the past few months. Everyone chasing Nvidia I guess, although Spire Global looks like it is waking up.

The story here remains the same, can't blame investors for selling out at these recent highs after such a long time in the doldrums. I was one of those sellers, keeping an eye out for another buy-in opportunity though.
