29/10/2022 15:14 | Funding for what? | luffness
29/10/2022 07:41 | An Edison note (sponsored, of course) - At almost 50% discount to the end-June nav, this might be worth revisiting. Always a danger that funding dries up, though. Quoted investment (NASDAQ): | jonwig
12/8/2022 08:47 | One of its top holdings $ASTS up 50% in a week ahead of its satellite launch | montynj
11/8/2022 11:17 | Bought back in here | montynj
01/8/2022 12:10 | Space companies get a brief mention half way through this article on the general VC valuation crash | sf5
28/7/2022 10:28 | The price rise over the last few days has been unreal ! | panache1
27/7/2022 23:00 | If I'd know the trading update was coming out today I would have held off from selling yesterday. Hadn't expected it to come out for a couple of weeks. | ec2
26/7/2022 16:57 | Sold out at today's close at just under 71.5p. Hadn't intended selling so soon after only buying just over a week ago, but I notice Arqit Quantum the 15% holding fell 5.4% yesterday and was down a further 8.5% today. | ec2
22/7/2022 12:11 | Well done ! | panache1
18/7/2022 12:21 | Mad I'm sure but taken a small opportunistic punt in these today at the 51p level. | ec2
12/7/2022 13:48 | NAV at 31/03 was 104p, and a lot has happened since then. We don't know what adjustment they will have made to the unquoteds, but the next NAV (to 30/06) will be useful. A lot of the long-term story is intact (except the overcrowding at LEO), and sometime I'll probably buy back in. | jonwig
12/7/2022 13:19 | Now half the original offer price. So much for the no divs but targeted 15% annual capital appreciation. | ec2
08/7/2022 10:00 | Will be interesting if management meetings in the next few days can generate some interest here.... | chrisdgb
28/6/2022 02:06 | Not exactly breaking news though is it. A 12% drop in one day is the worst daily decline since launch | davidro77
27/6/2022 06:47 | Higher interest rates = future earnings discounted more heavily = valuation falls for jam tomorrow companies. Nobody knows when the Fed will stop (even the Fed). There might be portfolio-specific factors too. | jonwig
27/6/2022 01:49 | Brutal fall on Friday what caused that anyone know? | davidro77
20/6/2022 19:43 | Thanks both. Agreed re risk/reward, tho at some point it'll surely be worth a look again. Suspicious of any co that does the "the listed ones have fallen but we've up-valued some unlisted" trick. | spectoacc
20/6/2022 19:41 | Ran the slide rule over these the other day and decided if I wanted to invest in growth (and I don't at present) there were better valued and more diversified opportunities elsewhere. Biggest listed holding which I estimated as now representing 15% of the portfolio has fallen another 62% since the 31Mar NAV calculation. It just shows how when the market was totally jam tomorrow growth oriented investors would buy more and more specialist niche areas to try and get that extra bit of return. These type of things are what falls hardest when the market turns. Fortunately I got out profitably and have stayed out. Possibly could be a short term bounce but the risk of timing it wrong and misjudging it is too high for me. | ec2
20/6/2022 16:36 | Not me. Lots of fairly safe opportunities around worth watching - no need to visit too much risk. | jonwig
20/6/2022 16:31 | Missed quite how far this had come off. Anyone tracking the listeds? | spectoacc
09/6/2022 19:21 | A bit like the trust's share price these days! This has turned into a bit of a dog hasn't it?Hard to see a recovery in this environment or guess how low it could go | davidro77
08/6/2022 08:10 | Space debris, scary stuff: Russia has already blown up a satellite (its own - just to prove that it can) and could easily take pot shots at more, to disrupt western comms. | jonwig |
