Think Equinox are a bit strapped for cash currently!

Ross Beaty had to front them the $12m we are paying for Coringa anyway...

I wonder if they will pay to participate in Coringa?

GM tightfist,

That is interesting re. Equinox. They are obviously familiar with the resource and area. I hope they don't do anything to be honest. Certainly not until the anomalies and cindarella are further progressed anyway.

Cash flows here should continue to improve and facilitate as much exploration as they can shake a stick at. From this price point there is so much upside independently that I would be a little disappointed if ever anyone was to make a bid. Hopefully Fratelli and Greenstone would also be of that view; they are both underwater here at this price it's important to remember.

O/T: Copper faces such an obvious forthcoming Demand/Supply imbalance that it makes you wonder! Or is it all fake news......

Good morning! FWIW I came across some speculation that Equinox (formerly Anfield) or another Canadian outfit may become involved in SRB.....

Whilst we are on the off-topics, another CU miner I rather like (but don't own any at this point) is SOLG. Going to take a while for them to build up their mines - I'm also a bit concerned about Dr. Copper for the medium term - in a couple of years though they could be an excellent play.

Totally agree, you can spend (ie waste) a small fortune drilling-up resources in a narrow vein mine - just as MML are.......

O/T: Agreed, I have dealt directly with the Chinese in business - nasty!.Here I envisage they will eventually buy us out - at least for the first smaller prospective mine site, BKM. That would then fund proving-up the second larger prospective mine, Beutong.

Well Eldorado already have their open pit at Tocantinzinho; they acquired that from Brazauro Resources at a very similar time to when they invested initially in Serabi. Whilst not actively (for the moment) developing Tocantinzinho, they have also been doing a lot of survey work and exploration around their tenement.

The whole Tapajos region was in the early 2000's being explored by a small group of geologists. It's really under-explored by most standards which is why the Cindarella shear and other anomalies really are very exciting possibilities.

It's surprising that you aren't surprised to be surprised. That's stranger than SRBs price..

Thanks ppvn. I have a sneaky feeling they are weighing up taking us out before Coringa comes online as the gold price environment looks ever more positive. Euro down against a broad currency basket today as the ECB stimulus bazooka is rumoured to be getting prepared for action. Slightly surprising gold is down but nothing surprises me anymore with the gold price action, it's very volatile!

Eldorado hold 2.9% of the company.

The longevity of Palito and Sao Chico is pretty open ended (like the veins they are mining, ba-boom). Proving resources in hard rock mines is a tricky business since its underground that they discover the additional veins and depths. Think that's why they are drilling a lot at both sites to try and prove up more resource; at the moment they only have a couple of years proved up at Sao chico and about 5 at Palito from memory - but that should increase as more exploratory work is done. It's not really like an open pit that has a finite and defined resource size really. That's my understanding anyway.

Anyone know about the longevity of the operational mind? That alone at current output justifies 100p or more but not if it not got longevity.

Currently they do but renewables will quickly take up. Once a viable localised storage option is decided upon , and it will be soon, gas will also die. Home energy heating will be next to feel the chill wind of tech. It's all going to change and much quicker than anyone expects. Luckily western governments are addicted to debt and that means golds future is currently guaranteed .. this huge re industrialisation phase will need funding! And that means debt

O/T: if so, possibly take a look at the medium term potential of Cu and the ARS RNS this morning of an MoU with an incoming Chinese partner.....

It doesn't mean it's all over for oil and gas which will be producing over 50% of the worlds energy needs for at least the next 20 or 30 years.

Electric cars get their electricity from gas fired power stations.

Why don't you ask the Norwegian sovereign wealth fund why they are liquidating all , yes all their oil and gas related holdings, which have ironically been purchased with their vast oil revenues. They know what's going on... why are aramco ipo'ing ? The games over...

It's best to do your own research. Having said that, this is a very simple business that's printing money!!

I've done well from oil in the past but you really need to pick an outstanding stock to have a chance now. Hidden depths is a bp man, he will hardly agree. Technology can move very quickly and oils days are numbered and things will change a lot quicker than anyone thinks. When you factor in all the cheap production, Saudi etc they will keep the market supplied, all these wonderfully complicated deep drills will simply cease to be commercial. And things will change very rapidly. You can't even order an egolf due to crazy demand. Norway pulling all oil investments. The future is electric. There will be some good stories in there but it's an investment area in decline. You only have to hop around the boards to see that. Oil rises and the sp's don't move like they used to.. tells me all I need to know.

They are hoping to continue to bung our 40,000 ounces in our live mine. What's the total resource, hence, longevity of this?
