Hi, I think a clue may be within post #3221, the gating of the Garraway fund and potentially it's liquidation? Yesterday's trading was very erratic with lots of delayed reporting.

If we pull out of Coringa we have £12M cash and are generating £1.25M a month more. Market cap £34M!!!!! Sorry - should all be US$. This is way way too low. Just relax. If you can't, sell or don't look for 6 months.

Why when a share goes up or down do so many posters think it is company specific instead of being sector or general market sentiment of the day?

So why are we down 4p already on very few sells or do we have a hidden seller trying to of load and I know of loading a large quantity of this stock will not be easy as the market size is small so he or she will have to take less than the bid to shift a lot.

Absolutely! IMO should represent a cost-saving of 1.9%, a cash-cost saving of around $15 and a margin improvement approaching 4% at today's PoG. All in a day!

Brazilian financial markets slumped on Wednesday, with stocks posting their biggest fall since March and the currency at its weakest level since May as fears grew that a recession in the United States could be on the horizon.

The selling, largely triggered by the inversion of the U.S. yield curve, briefly pushed the Bovespa below the 100,000-point mark, while the real weakened past the 4.00-reais-per-dollar level.

“The deterioration of Brazilian assets has been essentially global as the local news flow remains positive,” said the head of markets at a major bank in Sao Paulo, adding that the real’s weakness was also hitting investor confidence.

“The perception of a global recession approaching and China being hit by the trade war is all playing against emerging markets, and Brazil is no exception. It has been a tough time to play a good local story amid severe global turbulence,” he said.

Argentina is being hit far worse then Brazil is with it's share index falling 35% on Monday.

Added a few today. Given the strength of gold and decent results for 6 months to June.

Should be very pleasing results for next 6 months, esp if gold holds above $1500. Add in some brownfield and greenfield exploration and it seems a solid bet to me.

Like they are going for dry processing in new plant. Not sure what the draw backs are but given the current environment in Brazil since the dam disaster, will make permitting a great deal easier.

Well, if the ore sorter can achieve 30-50% reduction in waste that would liberate a significant amount of capacity for them?

They only process 500tpd - because of the constraints on Sao Chico that's around 140tpd and Palito around 360 - so if they got the full license they could get quite a bit more through the flotation tanks. Quite easily give them 10k oz, imo? It could also explain why they arent forecasting any significant uplift from the sorter in H2...

Hi PPVN,Thanks for the further thoughts. I had nor foreseen the Ore Sorter liberating that much capacity - but with x-ray for Palito and success to-be-proven with colour on Sao Chico ore, maybe the Palito plant will just about enable 60kOz?.[I noted a humorous comment at the AGM - ultimately they may find they should have installed the processing plant at SC - the science of hindsight!]?.Cheers, tightfist

Hey tightfist,

I've not seen it confirmed anywhere but I'd guess that taking the Sao Chico license from exploration to full mining license will enable them to mine greater quantities of ore. Believe that the exploration license that is currently in place enables them to mine up to 50k tonnes per year there. It could also go some way to explaining why they are placing so much focus on both step out drilling and extensions of the veins there - as well as the colour scanning functionality of the ore sorter.

A while back (couple of years) there was talk of expanding the plant capacity at either Palito or building another at Sao Chico - but could it be that the ore sorter will be able to remove this need? Think under a full license they'd be able to mine much more and then run Palito ore one week / sao chico ore the next. Or something...

Fresh brr media interview with Clive Line out today. Not a lot added? Listened again to the MH interview of 23rd July - Mike was very bouncy after 1:00; towards the end he mentions the PEA will take them to 70-80kOz pa - apart from the Ore Sorter (partially to be offset by exhaustion of the tailings stock?) where is the balance of 100kOz going to come from by end 2020? May partially explain the softening of the PH revenue forecast? IMO still great value at these levels.

Hi PPVN,63p will likely soon seem a real bargain - just seen a trade at 67p - getting too focussed on MM antics and timescales!.Well spotted about the latest Garraway fund gating, it explains a lot - one wonders where the rush-for-cash will now stop, post Woodford. Bargains galore?.And thanks for your reminder about P vs SC ore type and gold liberation. Now that SRB no longer highlight the mix and relative performance of the two mines it seems to have become more obscure; maybe I need to read more closely. As you say it possibly explains the progressive slippage in mean recovery that I have calculated. The Ore Sorter is a great initiative but may accentuate this P vs SC difference - await developments?.Cheers, tightfist
