Ppvn, have been watching a longtime but only bought in when it fell from the dizzy hights of the low 70's down to 50 then in and again at 60 sold the batch of 50 at 70 then got back today twice as many at 61 so not unhappy so far. Normal market size for this stock is just 1k and you can trade 5k if you get your broker to phone through. Today you could sell 25k as they were short for orders and buy 10k but had to pay a premium so phoned in and got at touch.

Hi Cinoib,

The market makers always seem to be problematic on this one.

Don't know if you were here but I bought a load back a couple of months ago when they initially rose to around 50p then dropped all the way down to 25p (hence I ended up with loads). It was sometimes tricky to buy any at all, but then the price would dive and you could pick up loads. It's really strange and I can't pretend to understand the rationale behind it sometimes.

Ppvn, when I went on they would sell you 10k but were asking a premium but were happy to buy 25k of you at .4 above the bid so short of stock.

Oh and apols Tightfist - re. the "recovery" - is this not announced by Serabi in percentage terms? Think Palito is around 93% and Sao Chico slightly lower. I'll have a dig about as sure I've seen that. Believe it to be lower in Sao Chico due to the deposit type and how the ore needs to be treated to liberate the gold element of it.

German GDP figures this morning show that the eurozone’s most important economy saw its economic growth shrink in the second quarter.

I appreciate I am deeply biased but 63p to my mind is still a bargain. I think the only reason shares are available at these prices is due to either Anker or Garraway still being in sell mode.

I noticed that the Garraway fund that grew from City Financial was gated again on 25th July and will be closed completely - so they will for sure be selling their holding here. Perhaps it could be them still.

Ah ha, must read further - seems my hunch was correct; I speculate that it may get further rolled-out within the "funding package" negotiation? If it minimises/stops dilution that's OK by me..Recovery: I have been tracking MML (now only on ASX) for many years - they are a narrow-vein miner based in the Philippines. One of their lead KPI's is "Recovery" which I take to mean the percentage of Gold gold going into the mill circuit that is ultimately captured and sold, rather than lost to the Tailings (and elsewhere?). In comparison, Serabi never seem to talk about it..Cheers, tightfist

Ok just bought another 10k and moved the price up, sold some AAZ and then that went up as well, but think this will move quicker.

Junk? I suppose the market is sometimes (rightly or wrongly) pricing-in a probability of default. However, please explain why the market is offering a mid-price redemption yield on Burford BUR2 of over 9% over 5 years - IMO it's Mr Market madness...

I have been monitoring it for a few weeks now, Longs on Gold have increased by 8% in the last two hours. This is the strongest I have seen it in the last three weeks, I think Gold may just see all new highs again today. The last time this occured above $1500s we had a couple of $100+ plus moves in a day, I shall caveat myself before getting to excited and say yes this is the SRB bb but seeing Gold just hit $1511 it is only a matter of time now until whatever is going on here comes to an end and we start to see a more realistic value

I get the same sense.

Did you ever look into the identity of who Fratelli are btw...?

In the management discussion on their website they have also been buying lots of new equipment for Palito and using the older bigger equipment for Sao Chico, which could explain the higher costs during q2?

On a less pleasing note I also see that the Sprott loan repayment terms have been altered to be payable in 6 equal installments from Jan 2020 - so ignore my previous assumptions with regard to that.

Hi, understandable on a busy day - good to see the rising interest! Maybe becoming impatient awaiting the PEA!! Tightfist is not one to sit on his hands......Starting the Portal (imminent?) through to declaration of Commercial Production are the ends milestones in my mind - provisional licensing and funding are two others. I thought of the Palito comparison because of the pre-existing process plant bought on-site, but needing remediation. On a level playing field experience may get them there slightly quicker - and initially displaced equipment from P or SC?.I get the impression the recently appointed Brasilian COO could be a bit of a task-master?.Cheers, tightfist
