I'm no expert here and don't pretend! Just got in at 11p and topped up late Friday however cancelled 26p order! And will wait for open but will top up! 25p is just a guesstimate and a starting figure! Sence would say 35p minimums here IMO any thing under will be rejected! Or will it 🤔 All depends on how Sepu are doing! If going down the pan they would except low offer! If things looking up no chance! Throw in more bidders poss! Either way Sepu share price will climb! Buyout or not! But first bid should be rejected unless they submit a can't refuse yummy bid! Gla tommorow is gonna be manic and lots of winners! 🚀🚀 rockets fired 23p open my guess! 🤒

Hytera would have to give an indication of their expected offer for the board to even entertain conversations. This company will recover over the next year anyway so no one is going to sell their shares for 25p.I would expect if the offer was lower than 35p the board would have rejected it already.

Walkie-talkie maker Sepura is set to receive a £90m takeover bid from a Chinese telecoms giant.

Hytera, based in Shenzhen, southern China, has opened talks with the Cambridge company, which makes handsets for the emergency services.

Sepura’s suitor is expected to offer more than 25p a share for the business in the coming weeks, sources said.

Interesting. Re:takeover worth considering that due to the drop in sterling foreign buyers will pick this up even cheaper. 50 p of a short while ago will be like them buying for 40p now. Our 50p is their 40p etc...

The more I read into this company the more I think the bid would come in at 60p at least, we may be surprised on Monday I think investment Dave may have nailed on head open around 35 rising quickly to 50, I think there may be some big holders buying in to bring there average down as well as those caught short who will be sorting themselves out, hopefully we will get agreed bid of 60p before open

...or given the volatility of earnings, a bidder might want to look at revenue multiples.

If you look at what Sepura paid for Teltronic as a multiple of Teltronic's revenues and applied the same multiple to Sepura forecast revenues, then again you would get a very high number.

Just some thoughts on earnings multiples.

Motorola (MSI) is currently on a p/e of 26.8 (according to Yahoo! Finance).

According to Digital Look, Sepura's FY17 earnings are estimated to be 0.1p per share, but up to 2.8p per share in FY18. In FY15 they reported 9.7 Eurocents/share adjusted diluted earnings, falling to 7.2 Eurocents/share in FY16.

So what might "steady state" earnings be? Is the 2.8p per share steady state, or can they be expected to recover back towards double figures?

Clearly if you apply the Motorola p/e to the FY15 level of earnings per share then you end up with a very high number, even before you start to add in the value of synergies and a possible strategic premium.

So I think there is potential for a very high takeout price, but only if Sepura can get a decent auction going (Hytera, Motorola, JVCKenwood??, Harris??).

Similar thinking here, I can't see this being below 35p if that's where the most recent money was raised.Any chance to buy below that on Monday and I will be adding as many as I can.

Be surprised to see these open below 35p however the takeover is highly likely to be well in excess of 50p

Im assuming this rule was in place to protect the company from shorters and a quick takeout at below market value.

Anyway peeps enjoy your weekend and look forward to the opening, and be careful trading before 8.30am (golden rule)
