Yes glen if these open below 35 on Monday I will throw kitchen sink at them, I can't see a bid below 35 imho will most likely be nearer 50p based on next year expected debt and earnings that's before growth, the Chinese will be stealing these below 50p and I don't think Motorola will let them have it on the cheap, may even put a higher bid in once Chinese bid just to make them pay for it

Yes, if someone buys shares in the company , then they can't then put a bid in for the company at a price less than what 'they' paid in the previous three months.

IMO - nothing to do with what the company share price was in the last 3 months.

I think you mean an offer must not be less than the price paid for any shares by the bidder in the last three months

Takeover code rule 6.1
6.1 ACQUISITIONS BEFORE A FIRM OFFER ANNOUNCEMENT
Except with the consent of the Panel in cases falling under (a) or (b), when an offeror or any person acting in concert with it has acquired an interest in shares in the offeree company:
(a) within the three month period prior to the commencement of the offer period; or
(b) during the period, if any, between the commencement of the offer period and an announcement made by the offeror in accordance with Rule 2.7; or
(c) prior to the three month period referred to in (a), if in the view of the Panel there are circumstances which render such a course necessary in order to give effect to General Principle 1,
the offer to the holders of shares of the same class shall not be on less favourable terms.
If an acquisition of an interest in shares in the offeree company has given rise to an obligation under Rule 11, compliance with that Rule will normally be regarded as satisfying any obligation under this Rule in respect of that acquisition.

Spotted it on twitter Rule 6.1d of the takeover code apparently - had no time to check this out so don't shoot the messenger Looking at other takeovers this point can be waived - google it and check it out

Apparently there is an AIM rule which states that the offer must not be less than the maximum price of the share in the last 3 months prior to the announcement

approx 57p

As I understand it, only 3 players in this field, Hytera, Sepura and Motorola. Motorola might not be too keen on the other 2 combining and be forced to get involved ?

Likely 25-30 mon/tue and then a steady rise up as positions accumulate and any possible figures emerge.Really need another interested party to get things fired up.Single bidder you'll struggle for 50pMultiple bidders could push it towards 80-100.Will be a fun week.

Not sure if it will gap up to 40-50p,, maybe 28-30p, however the take out price will be 40-50p for me,, starting at 35p ish. Might still be a buying op' come Monday...you'd be surprised..Depends if another party shows their hand....also depends on if any shorts are open and having to close..if its a high ish % then gap up to 35p.

Take out price,, All depends if another party enters the bidding..and how fast/serious the Chinese are. Anything under 35p will be rejected anyway as Sepura may as well go for a recovery, just time required really before that happens... If the Chinese are serious they'll probably start at 35p say, tends to always be 100% or so of the closing share price on announcement therefore may see 35 - 40p?, lets see if the likes of Motorola are interested at around that? if so the take out price could easily be 40-50p .. For me the share price was kept low at 15p for a reason that being this announcement.

I think another/other interested parties will make announcements here..bargain at 40p alone.

Opening price is tough to call, I have had three stocks in this position this year, all doubled over a short period, interestingly none did get a final offerHaving bought 5k at 16p, would happily take a double, but feel this could go into a bid war and finally go towards 60pMy guess is 25p open, climbing to 35+ by end of next week.....Maybe plenty if twist and turnsGLA

I'm going with 50p minimum based on last time there was any talks starting price was 35p and rose to 60p when backed out, they would have expected to pay a premium to 35p but 60p was too much.
