Here's a reminder of what we know.

Within the Aerospace Division (59% of Group sales in 2009), production of large
commercial aircraft, the Group's largest market sector, remained healthy with
Boeing and Airbus delivering a combined 230 aircraft in the quarter (Q1 2009:
237 aircraft). Their combined net order in-take was 143 aircraft (160 less 17
cancellations) for the three month period, a marked improvement from the 4
aircraft (50 less 46 cancellations) ordered in the first quarter of 2009.
Demonstrating their confidence in the future, Boeing and Airbus both recently
reiterated their positive outlook and announced planned increases in 2011 build
rates for their respective 777 and A320 aircraft. Importantly for Senior, given
the significant content the Group has on the aircraft, the flight test programme
for Boeing's 787 aircraft is making good progress with Boeing stating that they
expect to begin deliveries to customers, as scheduled, in the fourth quarter of
this year. Elsewhere in the Aerospace Division, markets were broadly as
anticipated. Demand in the business jet market continued to stabilise but build
rates of regional jets at Bombardier and Embraer weakened. Sales to the
military and defence market were strong, with the Group benefiting from
increasing production of Lockheed's C130 transport aircraft and Sikorsky's Black
Hawk helicopter.

Good on ya dancing piranha! Any thoughts on a breakout above 129/130p? In the past wee while it's been reaching these heights before dropping back. Is the interest over the pond enough to push us on further?

bit annoyed i sold half at 117p a little while ago but a profit is a profit. tempted to sell the rest soon around 130p if it stays at these prices - although i have so few genuinely well run companies in my portfolio, I will probably keep them...looks like the directors are being tempted as well with a couple of sales in the last month...

A lot of U.S airline shares have had broker upgrades this week.

This rise is probably on the back of that.

I know the feeling Sarah but a profit is a profit.
Was going to slice here but decided to sell out completly today.
No other reason that i need the cash for other trades. This time last year SNR was around 35p so its been a great ride.

Strong move today. I have to admit as I have said previously I topsliced some of these late afternoon as I wanted some cash in ISA in these volatile markets. You cant blame me though as my average price was 38 so sliced 1/3 so rest is free to do whatever it wants. I love this share but in these markets I thought I may take some cash of the table. I set a price this morning and decided if it gets hit it gets hit.. NO emotions. LOL

I still think this will go to new highs this year as it is a great company! My remaining shares will be lifers now! HeHe

1.7p divi payment tmrw as well!!!
