Multiple on well over 20 X FY 23.

Yet no one mentions that, is this a bargain?.

Yes it's worth more to someone else if there are synergy benefits
with an existing business, scope for Central cost savings etc,

Bought a small amount back but unless it's bid for again don't expect fireworks
and there could be downside.

The board needs to be putting its money where its bid rejection is here, and buy some shares.

1.48 to buy? - I did not see 1.48 on the offer.

Intra-day bounce on the PFizer antiviral data, Melrose up nicely as well.

Does feel like we’ve been played by personal BOD agendas

Starting to look weaker than a used rubber glove.

Slip sliding further away from that £2 offer which ...undervalued the company,

yet no BOD recent buying at these "bargain" levels

GG, may be covid cases beginning to escalate again across Europe?,
perhaps seen as unhelpful for their civil aerospace market.

The share price has been dropping steadily since the capital markets day. What a great success that was!

If anyone disagrees on the valuation that would be interested to hear?.

Obvs to another company it's worth more as they strip out multiple costs,
get scale efficiencies of in the same sector etc.

Surprised not to see the directors buying at this level, given that they thinks it's worth substantially more than 200p in the medium term.

MB, take your point, however if you look at current consensus Senior is
trading at over 20 X earnings on FY 2023.

That is significantly ahead of a longer term historical ratings and I've
followed this business for 30 years now so know it well.

Tiger, MRO looks to offer more upside to me.

You see it differently?.

I hold Melrose just to be transparent and a small amount of Senior.

I disagree.
I trust Ian King who spent plenty on shares for the record

They should have bitten their hand off at £2 a share.

Current consensus out to FY '23 is significantly less that FY 2018
on EPS and pre tax.

And I don't see the directors queuing up to buy shares.

Getting a good size holding now.

Just a tad aggressive lol

Personally, i consider 200p in the bag to be much better for my interests than 155p now and the *possibility* of more in the future.

The price on 21 Feb 2020 - the last day BC (Before COVID) - was 158p Anything north of that is a good result for shareholders IMO.

Sorry, perhaps a little aggressive.

Let the share drift down. Long-term investors can then pick it up for better price. I will.

Sadly, we already have lost Cobham, GKN, and stand to lose Meggitt and Ultra Electronics.

We don't want to lose more good quality engineers.
