Two days ago Boeing announced the successful completion of the 787 static wing bend stress test analysis - I think the event proved to be a truly remarkable engineering feat that took the composite wings up to 150% over normal operating stresses. The video, in particular is well worth a closer look, go check it out for via the below link. We as holders of SNR all have a serious vested interest in the ultimate success of this fantastic aircraft.

Johnsoho's post from RGD thread below
May be late now if you're hoping for a quick buck, because RGD has gone up from 4p to current share price since the last trading update was released on the 26/1/10 (i think!). I don't hold any but monitored it from 7p onward. Silly me!!

I think this company is a VERY good long term buy and hold and will reward the patient investor....one thing that I think it isn't is a high risk play.

I own a good few thousand shares and hold for the long term i.e. 4/5 years or so

I have been watching this one for a long time & have owned this since March 09 and thsi is my best performing share in the last year. There seems to be a pattern to this share at the moment.

It makes new highs then goes down for a while then steems up again to make a higher high each time. It did it at 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 & now seems its doing it again at 110.

Forward PE still has much more upside as the Boeing deals start to materialise IMO. I keep thinking about topslicing but have learnt my lesson now I have seen ths pattern this share trades. I am going to sit it out & see what happens when the cash starts flowing through on the boeing deals which are now a certainty rather that just a possibility. These will all hit the bottom line profitability. SNR has already been upgraded since its last statement. I wouldnt be surprised if it gets upgraded again once the revenue starts flowing in.

This is NOT a ramp & just my opinion. You can probably trade for quick money following the trading pattern but I just cant be botehered as your timing has to be 100% spot on. This share is one of very few that requires absolutely no ramping whatsoever. That & the very quiet board always a good sign in my book.

Is this normal? All seems a bit too good to be true, especially in the current climate? Not that i'm complaining!

On the recent pennants, the pull back has been about 8%. That would 102p. question is will it be today or next week, when it is completed. After completion it has then stepped smartly higher.

After another fantasic day, SNR closed above 110p. This currently represents a 46.7% increase during 1st quarter 2010. Its nice to see it listed in today's top FTSE gainers. Now with 400,339,480 shares in issue

With airline stocks standing at multi year highs, increased aircraft orders, the Dreamliner on track, the land vehicle market recovering, strong cashflow, reduced debt, Senior is sitting in the middle of a sweetspot right now.

As long as the Dreamliner starts to roll out later this year, I see 200p as easily achievable by year end! The market obviously still see's this as well undervalued at present...

I think a fair proportion of SNR's future value lies in supplying components for Boeing's 787 program and resultant 787 orders that Boeing will inevitably secure for this fantastic aircraft.

Today its Test Flight program nears 400 hours overall and all show positive results so far. With the completion of its 'Ultimate Load Wing' test on 28th March, SNR has every sign of remaining a good prospect with increased earnings potential throughout 2010. I'm hoping some of this positiveness will be reflected in the Full '09' year Results and duly expect a re-rating by Analysts as a result.

I noted the 'sp' was 75p on 31/12/09 and today we're currently around £1.08 (that represents +44%) this quarter 'without any direct news to drive it'. Thus far SNR certainly hasn't let us down at all.

Another share I hold, sits close to SNR on my monitor, namely SMIN. It is in the same sector. The rise has not been as explosive as here, but it has risen 25% in more or less a straight line since I bought it on 1st October last year and pays a good dividend too.

But as you say Stockadoodle, many private investors get far too easily suckered into chasing mirages or, quite frankly, boiler room shares, in the hope of a quick return.

Couldnt agree more Leeds.

The dash for trash shares are showing their true colors now as the ones in know took there money & ran months ago leaving the hopers who missed out catching falling knives. I read lots of crying & despair on some boards of these trashy shares these days.

So glad things are now back to true stock picking & not just drop of a hat choices. It got way to easy to make money in the market in last 12 months.

SNR is a long term bet especialy with the new orders coming in. Follow the cash!

In Q2, stock picking may be important.

Financial strength

Growth

Overseas earnings

Dividend

are said to be the 5* qualities we should be looking for.

Without undue ramping SNR appears to tick that list.
