24/3/2010 14:55 | A close above 101GBX would do me fine... We wait. TITM | traderinthemaking
24/3/2010 14:34 | I can only suggest that as previously predicted, MidCap Fund Managers etc. are now showing interest as SNR has entered onto FTSE 250/350 and FTSE Allshare indices. Not to mention the obvious - it represents good value at anything under £1.20.....IMHO! Nice to see SNR's MktCap now closing on £400M | mazarin
24/3/2010 14:21 | Quite a day! :-) Anyone any idea whats going on? | jojo01
24/3/2010 14:13 | I have 4 stocks in a race to £1 bid (VELO, JHL, GMG), weird. | foodcritic
23/3/2010 12:25 | Some rather erratic 'sp' movements today, that are perhaps indicative of 'Fundies' moving out and into SNR? I saw 200k followed shortly by 100k transactions this morning. No doubt we will be soon enlightened by relevant RNS's reflecting Major Changes of Interest in Holdings. | mazarin
22/3/2010 14:15 | Quotes are to a tenth decimal place I see now we're in with the bigger boys. | broadwood
22/3/2010 12:29 | jojo the market's generally in the doldrums today and with FTSE 250's currently 87.64 down (0.9%) at 9,934. In the absence of any positive Company specific info its not surprising SNR follow's suit. I expected ahead of the promotion to see a few Small Cap Funds selling off as a result of the move, whose place, I believe will sooner or later be taken by Mid Cap Funds looking for value. | mazarin
22/3/2010 10:49 | Thanks for that, I'm still relatively new to this, only a couple of years worth of dabbling. Started taking it more seriously last year so lots to learn! | jojo01
22/3/2010 10:45 | jojo01 - Market is weak today but simply look at share that entered FTSE250 in the past and you will see that one should never expect an immediate +xx%... TITM | traderinthemaking
22/3/2010 10:32 | Can anyone explain why the drop? Thought inclusion today would increase not decrease the SP? | jojo01
19/3/2010 19:28 | SNR Fundamentals as amended by iii after today's close. Listed as a FTSE Constituent : Shares in issue 399.664493m : Market Cap (GBP m) 385.68 : EPS 9.79: PE Ratio 9.7: Dividend Cover 5.76: Dividend Yield 1.79 : Price to Sales 0.7. So now we'll see just where we go from this point forward. I was holding when the bottom fell out in Sept 2008 and quickly dived to 38p in a matter of days. I had the sense to 'Add' at sub 30p and again sub 40p. I see no reason why it shouldn't get back to £1.20+ this year as its fundamnentals look stronger than ever. Its sure been a hell a of a ride for the last couple of years. | mazarin
19/3/2010 16:19 | Its a FTSE 250 company next week. | broadwood
19/3/2010 16:11 | Another 150k @ 96.5p sucked up.......... lol! You won't be able to buy in double figures for much longer IMO! | dancing piranha
19/3/2010 15:53 | L2 looking alot stronger now...... time to give up, you shorters! | dancing piranha
19/3/2010 14:16 | Good news for SNR? Boeing Moves Up Output Rate Increases on 777s, 747s (Update1) March 19, 2010, 8:58 AM EDT By Kevin Orland March 19 (Bloomberg) -- Boeing Co., the world's second- largest commercial-plane maker, will accelerate planned rate increases on both the 777 and 747 programs because of increasing demand from customers. The boost in 777 production, to seven a month from five, will begin in mid-2011 instead of early 2012 as originally planned, Chicago-based Boeing said today in a statement. The increase in 747 output to two a month from about one and a half will start in mid-2012 instead of mid-2013, the company said. Boeing said today that airlines may return to profitability in 2011, boosting demand for planes in 2012 and beyond. The accelerated production increases aren't expected to have a material effect on 2010 financial results, Boeing said. "Market improvement and our conservatively managed approach to production have put us in a position where we see it necessary to raise aircraft output," Jim Albaugh, head of Boeing's commercial planes unit, said in the statement. Boeing rose 43 cents to $71.30 at 8:36 a.m. in trading before the regular open of the New York Stock Exchange. The shares increased 31 percent this year before today. --Editors: Kevin Orland, Steven Frank. | tullynessle
19/3/2010 14:12 | What a fight, very intriging to watch on L2! Nearly 200k plonked on the offer @ 95p a minute ago, to try a mighty push down, but got snapped straight up! | dancing piranha
19/3/2010 12:13 | Quite an epic fight going on here in last few days.. Wonder who will win | stockadoodle
18/3/2010 14:19 | Shorters struggling/failing to get this down again today..... 100p coming shortly! You can't keep a quality company down for long......... | dancing piranha
17/3/2010 19:26 | Thanks Dancing Piranah, had been thinking that but always looking for some other opinions to get a bit more perspective. I'm gonna have to sell some of my other shares to take advantage of these prices but I think it's well worthwhile. I havn't heard the word Dividend for a while now - sure feels good to hear it here. | jojo01
17/3/2010 19:07 | hi guys - I have been here since 60p. I've ben particularly impressed with how the company has been paying off the debt as it was one of my worries when I bought in. Can anyone remember how much the debt is costing the company at present levels? I would look myself but just about to rush off so if anyone knows offhand could you post here? TIA. Can we expect the company to increase dividends in the future or will they pump it into growth? | jungleboychris
17/3/2010 18:48 | jojo, The shorters are having a go here at present, but they are struggling to make any ground! Far better to top up on any weakness, than worry unduly, as these will soon be above 100p, once the shorters have given up and the buying pressure resumes! Much good news is likely to surface this year, especially concerning the roll out of the 787... and further down payment on their now dwindling debt! All IMHO of course!! | dancing piranha
17/3/2010 18:28 | considered opinions? Has this more to fall or has it bottomed out? Considering buying some more. | jojo01
17/3/2010 14:33 | Sorry - don't subscribe to that at all. Boeing has just had a couple of Broker Recs across the water. Won't do any harm to this one. | broadwood
16/3/2010 15:28 | Yes, pushing it down to buy, and also hoping to acquire some on the bid price as nervous holders sell or take profits...it used to be customary good manners for them to take the share price back to where they found it, but alas few bother now. | leedskier |
