re post 17818: Never say never with a fundraise, but I feel it is unlikely and in half year results the company had “Cash at 31 December 2020 of A$52.3m” and cash burn is around A$16 after revenues. I expect that to have risen significantly in this year as markets open back up and staff have been taken on, and even if it goes above the 2019 levels it should stay below two years burn. Only if the company decide to buy out a smaller company (as SEYE have done) will there be a need for more cash.

The reason for the delay in results still lays bare.

Todays jump in share price is a weird one, nothing to warrant the initial a 5.4% increase, and considering Qualcomm have been active this week perhaps news on that front has leaked? Welcome all the same though.

Certainly looking as though it might well get through 12p for keeps at last. It certainly deserves too given the newsflow.

Fingers crossed!

IF there is a placing ,particularly to a strategic investor (like QC)I would expect it to be at the prevailing price or a small premium

I watched the very impressive Qualcomm presentation yesterday and understood about 30% of it if I'm honest. They do however see enormous growth opportunities in their auto division (some of their vision almost feels like science fiction to me-but what do I know) and frankly, if SEE technology is as good as most of us hope, an acquisition by cash rich Qualcomm would, from their view point appear to be logical. However, even they talk in terms of very long lead times to some of the tech implementation and they probably don't need to rush. In the meantime, we are left to ponder why the SEE results were deferred for 4/5 weeks as clearly nothing emerged in the Qualcomm conference to justify, and we have the normal deafening silence from the company, and their now sole brokers. Best guess must I suppose be a further cash raise/placing, probably at a 10/15% discount to the current SP-and therefore a strong possibility that the price, post the results, will fall back again. Certainly a stock that demands greatfaith and patience.

Assuming we remain the DMS provider of choice to Qualcomm,( which seems to be the case) our prospective revenues will be defined by their revenues & , a gigantic global company have have provided parameters for future revenues from various sources including Auto- so it would not be unreasonable to expect us to provide similar guidance ,which analysts & brokers can use more accurately to determine a view on our prospective future value.
I was hoping for some positive excitement in the run up to our results & I still believe there could be positive news which may explain the 4 week delay in our ( known) results.Perhaps Qualcomm will announce a capital injection in return for a disclosable stake to provide the cash flow ( if required) to enable us to handle to substantial expansion which is (hopefully) underway & likely to continue over the next 4 or 5 years +

There is some excitement on the LSE Board today regarding this afternoons Qualcomm presentation by their senior management. They are apparently very bullish & the hope is that our DMS embedded in their Snapdragon offering will feature strongly.
I hope that is the case but the cynic in me expects that The Market would know & our share price would have already risen in anticipation.
Either way, we will know more later !

Looks an interesting one but my wise head says wait for the results to see where the land lies, plenty of time to get in imo

I have this on my watch list, certainly those that got in 2-4p area must be happy long term holders

The results will not LOOK good - we already know the topline revenue and there will continue to be significant losses.

Forward guidance will be interesting if they give any significant detail but next year will probably (possibly) also be loss-making.

RNS of contracts with associated revenue numbers needed to shake up PI's and the share price from here. They had a pipeline of 900m of RFQ's to respond to almost a year ago.

Qualcomm's meeting today is an overall presentation. In December they are doing an automotive-specific presentation. I imagine that will be much more relevant to SEE.

Continuing race between cash-flow positive and financing requirements.

All imho....

Well something not right, sector out of favour, not profitable etc etc, if these were that good the share price would be flying..maybe investors want to see the results first before making a decision to invest or not

They were cheap at those prices, I assume being held back due to high cash burn and likely hood of another cash raise?

'The world is waking up to driver monitoring systems

Lenne talking up DMS :

Mike Lenné@drmikelenne / 8:00 PM GMT•November 15, 2021

Driver monitoring systems (DMS) are fast becoming the leading automotive safety system in the world. In the United States, rapid growth of Level 2 driving assistance systems such as General Motors’ Super Cruise and Ford’s BlueCruise are quickly expediting and greatly expanding DMS usage.

Driver monitoring systems use strategically placed cameras to ensure that the driver is paying attention to the road, awake and alert. The system is integrated into the vehicle and can be programmed according to a series of escalating actions, starting with a driver alert or warning and progressing to slowing or stopping the car if the driver is no longer able to operate the vehicle.

PM was more bullish in his early Aug trading update, referring to A$900mill RFQs up for grabs ,with similar amounts expected next year.
Results on 24/11 will confirm FY21 accounts but it is the Outlook statement which we should all be reviewing with great interest & subsequent meetings with analysts & brokers should set the parameters for FY22.I expect PM to remain reasonably conservative as it is always better to outperform expectations than under perform.
I would hope that the expectation for FY22 is for a substantial increase in revenue
