Fleet KM covered daily seems to have increased recently to around 8mill which bodes well for increased connections .I am still hoping for a step change in connections by our signing contracts with OEMs if trucks ,coaches ,buses ,large vans etc .We still have only a tiny % of a market which must grow exponentially if DMS us to be mandatory by 2024 .Thd Australian/Kiwi market alone is many multiples of our current position

Interesting to see a 5 mill buy from 16.19 @ 5.54p pop up this afternoon. That is unlikely to be a PI & supports the view that an investor ( hopefuly more than )is taking advantage of the increased volume to quietly accumulate a few shares.
we must bear in mind that ,despite the increased volume over the last few days, that 37mill shares represents around 1% -so anyone wanting to buy a meaningful stake "on market " needs much higher volume than we have currently.

Most of the early 'sells' were actually buys. I was getting same prices at same time for a buy order!

I strongly get the feeling someone is intent on buying a lot of these!

STOCKHOLM, Nov. 4, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- The automotive technology company Veoneer, Inc. (NYSE: VNE and SSE: VNE SDB), has announced the appointment of Ray Pekar as Chief Financial Officer, effective March 2021. He first joined Autoliv in 1996 and became Vice President Business Development and Investor Relations for Veoneer upon its spin-off from Autoliv in 2018.

"I look forward to taking on my new role. The timing for this transition is good, I get to participate in the next part of the build-up of Veoneer as the company enters a growth phase and advances its collaboration with Qualcomm", said Ray Pekar.

-

Interesting that Pekar made direct reference 'enters growth phrase' and refers to advancing Veoneers collaboration with Qualcomm. I've got a sense that we may see news around this area before too long..maybe definitive commercial contracts

Veoneer dated 23-Oct 2020

'Looking now on the recent strategic announcement on the next page. On August 27, we signed a non-binding letter of intent with Qualcomm to jointly deliver on next-generation ADAS collaborative and autonomous driving platform. This platform will range from level one to level four systems uniquely designed to create an open platform for Tier 1 suppliers and automakers. The scope of the agreement is intended for both companies to collaborate and jointly deliver a full software stack and SoC platform for next-generation ADAS collaborative and autonomous driving and this joint solution builds on Veoneer's software stack for perception and driving policy and the next-generation's Qualcomm Snapdragon Ride automotive scalable portfolio of System On a Chip, SoC, and Accelerators. This platform will be marketed and sold to automotive manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers, and we are targeting customer launches during 2024. We continue to make good progress with finalizing the definitive agreements and aim to have the transaction signed during the fourth quarter this year and so far, have had good feedback from a handful of OEM customers and a handful of potential Tier 1 customers.'

-

We should get some updates from Veoneer-Qualcomm letter of intent in the next few weeks as well. Veoneer do refer to 'definitive agreements' (plural)

Honestly, I actually don’t mind the down marker. It’s a constant reminder that someone is desperate enough to keep doing it knowing that it makes no difference to absolutely anything... and that that person isn’t me!

Kind of expecting the US buying to pick up pm, would be good to have another repeat of Friday.. I still think 6p is doable today.

I wonder what Paul told Federated Hermes (FH) to get them to buy a 10% stake in SEE? It is self-evident FH liked what they heard, did their due diligence and according to a public quote from Paul may trigger 'on market' buying from either FH or other US based fund managers

Come on Paul. You obviously told Fed-Herm something special now tell the market
