I fear it is a leaky company! We had steady rises to the RNS with many buys increasing the SP, news released and not explained well (typical SEE) resulting in no great rise so the traders sell out again. I would hope the share price settles at this level and we await the next news, will that be Toyota or Apple which should see us back up again.

Those with good sources bought in and sold where as the Walter Mitty types missed out.

Bizarre share price action... bad news, goes down. Good news, goes down.

Is it best of class in a hot market or not? Share price doesn’t seem to agree.

Anyway there are many more uses of this technology as has been already discussed; this is a very new and versatile product.

I'm sure there are uses not even thought of yet.

That is exactly the point of the RNS poom, yesterday there was a small fear of driverless cars, today a likeliness that good old H and S will require our tech as back up on driverless installs. Yet more customers in an aspect where we had none

Cfb2, yes I agree, that's certainly not Ubers plan. I'm not convinced that driverless cars will be allowed on the road (wholesale) in the timescales mentioned in the article, so it would be either scale back on he plan, or use an interim solution, although that would defeat the object of what they want to do.

poombear: Thanks for the pointer to the article and the numbers are interesting but I bet Uber would not be expecting to put backup drivers in those cars by the time they come to roll out anywhere near that number of cars. I would expect them to delay purchasing the cars when they don't meet the deadline of operating a level 4 autonomy.

As you wish. I’m making a lot of money on SEE and will do again. Depending on placing price and amount this still has potential to reach double figures again.

I'm glad to hear you think it will be back in double figures OTM.

Toyota/ FCA/ Apple news might help it get their imo.

This RNS is announcing a variety of an existing SEE product that has a maximum market size potential of around a few hundred. Some of the major players have up to 100 test cars with backup drivers.

Following the fatal accident where an Uber automated car killed a pedestrian the NTSB criticised the lack of attention of the backup driver (initially the press were reporting they could be prosecuted for manslaughter) and a number of US states wanted monitoring of the driver before allowing Uber to operate there. Therefore my guess is Uber.
