I was expecting some form of placing around mid-2019 due to the cost of assisting prospective licensees evaluate their technology but recent RNS and sell offs from institutions suggests it may happen towards the end of the year. No doubt their recent visit to the UK was related to discussions with IIs about this. The lack of any sort of house broker research is suspicious too. Yes they could tap their bank loans but why pay interest when they can tap the market practically for free? It'll be couched in terms of needing to push their technology on multiple fronts and it taking longer than expected for manufacturers to make purchasing decisions and rolling out products.

My post last week was bang on the money although it is now clear what they were discussing with the institutions and the subsequent sell off was insider trading. The thing about Australian companies is they are far enough away that it takes a long time for the smell of bullsh*t to reach us.

I wonder whether the board will hand back their recent performance related shares/options? No, I didn't think so.

I feel that the board have mugged their PIs.

This was not unexpected it was clear in the update that they were losing money. But as usual people only see what they want to see.
A lot of pi's will have lost money here and it is quite suspicious that there have been a lot of large delayed trades showing up this morning included before the rns'.
But this is company is on AIM and this type of trading is not being regulated properly.
A placing or funding will probably happen in december unless shareholders agree that it can happen within 12 months of the last placing.
Also chartist will see a gap being filled at 6p but it might fall lower when people look closely at whats really happening instead of listening to posters telling us all how great this company is and posting links all day.
Also think that management must be held accountable and think that there should be changes and bring in someone who can deliver and has no ties to the company.
Do sincerely think this company has a great future but will need help from and outside source.

I'm reading the RNS as preparing us for a sale of Fleet to leave a focus on Automotive. As long as Fleet isn't sold too cheap, I'm happy with that.Question then is whether visible orders of £100m support a marcap higher than that.

However I must add the placing will now be much lower than I previously indicated.

This does feel a bit stage managed.
VSI are the partners who manufacture G2, I recall, they also have a strategic investment in SEE and would no doubt have had full knowledge of problems on cost and supply chain issues.
It will be interesting to see what happens next.
Happy to top up though :-)

This smells to me like an over done price drop to facilitate a cheap buy out......I hope i'm right

They basically have great technology but now no revenue stream to get it to market and meeet the Auto contract requirements.

They need a white knight - but at what price ?

So the Fleet unit can't get its products to customers because the raw materials are in short supply.Does that mean orders will be cancelled and new orders not signed or is it just delays that are going to be ongoing maybe for some time?On the positive side there appears to be no problem with customer demand.
