11/10/2023 06:19 | I don’t think Mellon is feeling hurt with a loss. This is pocket change to him. He did also sell around 1/3 of his shares here. Just as a small protest. | brave dave
10/10/2023 23:35 | Bellend specialist subject the bleeding obvious. Everyone knows Mellon left the board but he is still the second largest shareholder who is sitting on a very large loss at the current share price He is therefore sharing the pain of all long term shareholders. I read the book and have followed FFWD/SEED since its inception ( in fact before because I was already a shareholder in the company that became FFWD). You are an infantile deramping moron and I am now filtering you and suggest everyone does the same. | 888icb
10/10/2023 20:41 | Mellon you are the bellend. Jim Mellon is still the second largest shareholder with 6.95% of SEED so he hasn’t left. | 888icb
10/10/2023 17:21 | That’s probably true. I’ve followed and traded seed for around 7 or 8 years now. A terrible share with pathetic performance - yet a good one to trade regularly. They have done nothing but invest ( and lose ) in their own companies and that of their friends. Holding while their investments dwindle down to nothing - one with £5m to zero. All because they would never sell as it’s in their own business or that of their buddies. Corrupt to the core. FFWD - its previous name was named after Jim Mellons book and Vision. He got too embarrassed by the goings on and left. | mellonsbellend
10/10/2023 14:48 | But it would have fallen further without the buy back, so it has. It could easily have retraced by double that percentage after the recent spike. It's more complex than just the chart going up the chimney until it hits the buy back limit price. | jaylett
10/10/2023 14:29 | Lol. That’s what I’m saying it hasn’t supported the share price has it. It’s dropped near 15% since the buy back started. | mellonsbellend
10/10/2023 08:11 | You are thinking about it incorrectly. The buy back also supports the price when there are sellers, to prevent the discount to NAV from widening further. It is natural for additional volume to flush out some sellers, particularly after a steep rise. That will clear and then the buys should start to move the price up as sells dry up. It is essential they maintain the programme as it is accretive to shareholders and the best use of the liquid assets as this time. | jaylett
09/10/2023 20:01 | Well. They have had the share buyback running for a week now. They have bought back around £85k worth, 10% of the proposed buyback and the share price is down over 10% in the same period. At this rate they should have the buyback complete before Christmas. I thought it would give the share price some support. Bagged for those who bought in at the bottom. It will still take something pretty big to shake off its shady history. All eyes on Ed. You talk the talk….yet so far you’re barely crawling never mind walking. | mellonsbellend
04/10/2023 17:17 | Let the sellers out gifting them to the share buyback which has only just started letting Seed pick them up in the 3's currently. Will start moving up very soon as 3.5p looks solid support and the real momentum of the buyback starts to kicks in. | wally27
04/10/2023 10:38 | I think it’s down to the market but so far the 2 days of buy back has not had a positive effect on the shareprice. However it is allowing shares to be bought back cheaply and we should see the benefit when market sentiment improves. We should get an RNS about a new Investment before too long based on Ed’s comments at the last presentation which should attract some attention. | 888icb
02/10/2023 07:05 | Hi All, find a link below to a short video discussing the start, this morning of SEED's share buyback program. Please share if you like. Thanks... https://youtu.be/kAU | biztech
29/9/2023 16:30 | Buys are at 4.2p into the close following that RNS. | 888icb

29/9/2023 16:24 | 29 September 2023SEED Innovations Limited("SEED" or the "Company")Commenceme | parob
29/9/2023 10:14 | Up 2.5% to 4.05p on volume of 950000. SEED is up 100% in the last 6 weeks but still along way to go to narrow the discount to NAV. SEED just back to the share price it had in September 2022 and needs to double again to get anywhere near NAV. Important to remember that the share buy back has not yet commenced as a further announcement has been promised when it actually starts. September has seen an impressive turn around in SEED’s fortunes which should continue into October and 2024. The investments are starting to perform well and the Directors clearly have some deals lining up to start deploying the £7 million cash. As a long term holder I am enthusiastic about SEED for the first time in a long time. | 888icb
28/9/2023 16:07 | Currently Up 2.6% at 3.95p as volume passes 2 million. The last 2 trades have been Buys at full offer of 4.1 so we might see it move up again before the close and reach 4p. | 888icb
26/9/2023 12:17 | Up 4% this morning to 3.9p on volume of 552000 all buys. 4p has been paid so strong possibility of being 4p+ at the close. | 888icb
25/9/2023 11:50 | Thanks Wally, a good listen indeed. CEO seems to have a strong handle on things for now and eluded to current NAV discount. Let the buyback commence | punterman
25/9/2023 11:39 | Having listened to Ed on the Sunday Roast, we can expect buyback to start this week. Any day now then. | bdog51
24/9/2023 13:13 | Great listen... From 38 mins 45 secs | wally27
21/9/2023 13:06 | Great overview video just out... | wally27
20/9/2023 11:06 | This mornings AGM was very positive. SEED in a much better place having streamlined its portfolio and is now sitting on £7 million cash to make new investments and effect a share buyback to reduce the discount to NAV. Mention of special dividends in the future to return cash to shareholders when profitable investments are sold. | 888icb
20/9/2023 09:44 | Today we're seeing investors take positions, some taking early profits as you'd expect. I'm expecting a gradual rise once the buyback commences. Not a bad rise so far though in the run-up and no doubt more to come. Max buyback could be 25% of shares, so a long way for this to travel over the coming weeks and months. | bdog51 |
