Up 23.8% to 3.9p on volume of 3.4 million and they haven’t started the buy back yet! This looks like an effective plan to reduce the massive discount to NAV of 56%.

Correct. Tomorrow they authorise a further new buyback for 15% of total share capital. My guess is this one will be utilised too as more liquidity events/cash injection occurs.

Excting times for all shareholders!

The 850k is just the first part of buy back. Don't they get to approve a further 15% buy back at the AGM tomorrow? I'm sure it will all be explained at AGM anyway. It's all sounding extremely positive after a long period of share price depression. Bring it on!

So they have allocated 850,000 GBP to buy shares up to 6p, hence we're looking at about 100% upside from here, if I've understood correctly. Will be interesting to see how quickly it moves since there's a fairly limited amount of shares available at a given time.

That's just activated this years buyback with a few hours to go until it was void.
Tomorrow we get authorisation for another 15% buyback.

Something tells me we are going to fully utilise that one too!

Great times ahead for all shareholders!

Off to the races again this morning Up 9%. In the middle of August SEED was at 2p, this morning it is at 3.6p. So Up 80% in one month but still massive upside to get anywhere near NAV.

Very High Volume TodayToday 15:15
Yesterdays volume was good but todays current 9.4 million is already more than double yesterday. You then have to go back to March 2021 to find a higher volume of nearly 22 million. Todays 10.5% rise continues the rerate as interest returns recognising the massive discount to NAV much of which is actually cash.

See the fools on LSE not even understanding how a share buyback would benefit.
Well for one less shares in the company.
For two it increases the NAV.
For three the most important of all......It is less money to invest in their / mates companies and less money to lose.
WIN WIN

errr....zero....never going to happen. I've seen it happen a few times over the years with real funds that had a huge discount for a long period. Liquidate the fund to release value, to then go and start again. Imagine Ed liquidating and then asking investors for money...lollolllhahhahh. He's not even a fund manager, how is he here £150k for an hour or so each month

For once I have to agree with you 888. A special dividend or better still just liquidate the fund. It's been a disaster from the start. Give the long term shareholders a special dividend for their pain and suffering putting up with the incompetence here
brave dave

Give everyone a special dividend of cash back. That is the most equitable way of returning funds at NAV.

Surely with this amount of excess cash on hand and such a massive discount to NAV, now is the time to initiate a targeted buy back programme? It would be highly accretive to shareholders and must be considered by the Board.
