04/5/2017 07:40 | We just found fairly potential large discovery of gas two weeks ago, MKT isn't valuing that let alone our assets.Patience, for some reason the MKT is valuing the oil as do or die.. | ![]() neo26

04/5/2017 07:16 | Quite comfortable buying in again if the price touches 60 p. Bear in mind PW is a very professional Oil man. He'd only authorise an RNS I suggest when completely comfortable that all the detail has been accurately recorded. Less detail an earlier RNS, more detail ... well, here's hoping ! | ![]() bushman1

03/5/2017 20:19 | Not just hot air: Aim-listed SDX Energy makes gas discovery in Egypt's Nile Delt https://www.google.c | tidy 2
03/5/2017 19:14 | Casing and cementing takes a couple of days for each zone if they have oil. 3 zones past the gas is 6 days alone. | tidy 2
03/5/2017 19:10 | NickThe company has said everything is on track, what we do know is that the company has found gas.I'm happy to hold medium term.. | ![]() neo26
03/5/2017 19:04 | neo, the company are very shareholder friendly and focused on delivering shareholder value. The drift has been fairly low volume and mirrors the drift before the gas discovery announcement. Probably a few holders on extended settlement who hoped for an announcement a little earlier. I don't think there are any clear signals about the deeper level oil result either way but, on balance, I think that PW's estimate (including his two week from gas to target depth) is likely to have included time for logging finds. So it's reasonable to conclude that either there have been technical issues that have added a few extra days or those days have involved logging finds at one or more of the three deeper level formations. | ![]() nick2412
03/5/2017 18:48 | someone on lse had an e mail,same answer,cant spell it out much clearer,looking good imo | ![]() tom111

03/5/2017 18:26 | I contacted them today also. All is on track. | tidy 2
03/5/2017 17:55 | NickI contacted company today and within minutes I received response that they would keep MKT informed.MKT is being really impatient, if you think logically what should one expect the MKT to value the gas find ? obviously it needs testing but considering this trend management are very confident. The gas find the MKT has only put a price of c. 20m when infrastructure is close by to quickly put in production. | ![]() neo26
03/5/2017 17:52 | There are a whole host of reasons for drilling ops going to (even beyond) the original upper guesstimate of 45 days... the gas discovery we know about, technical hiccups & unexpected geology being other obvious candidates | ![]() thegreatgeraldo
03/5/2017 17:51 | They found gas and drilled 7777ft in 26days, after this PW was convinced they would be drilled and logged within further 14 days for deep horizons. The company have emailed and they say everything on target. So +/- 1 day doesn't matter. | ![]() neo26
03/5/2017 17:47 | Yes, on the 18th. It's unlikely that his maximum estimate for drilling including the phrase 'if we find something' is going to exclude estimated time allowing for an oil discovery. That would be a bit odd. Nonetheless, there could be other technical reasons beyond an oil discovery for the drill taking up the maximum time in his estimate. | ![]() nick2412
03/5/2017 17:44 | great answer,not | ![]() tom111
03/5/2017 17:40 | "The time beyond his lower estimate could of course be for technical drilling reasons or in the context of PW's quote they have found something hence the full 45 days estimation is required." They have found something - they made a gas discovery. | ![]() thegreatgeraldo
03/5/2017 17:38 | TheGG - you ask 'what extra time?' ..as stated PW's quote related to his target depth drilling time estimation was 30 to 45 days "depending on what we find". So I was referring to the additional taken from his lowest estimated time of 30 days and it's obvious that he was talking in the context of if they found something it would take longer and up to 45 days. The time beyond his lower estimate could of course be for technical drilling reasons or, in the context of PW's quote, they have found something hence the full 45 days estimation is required. Well 43 to be precise. | ![]() nick2412
03/5/2017 17:35 | The point I'm making there is if there is no oil or gas they don't need to case and therefore the drilling process to Target depth is sped up somewhat. | tidy 2
03/5/2017 17:30 | hopefully news tomorrow gla | ![]() tom111
03/5/2017 17:29 | We'll have to wait a week or two for test results from the gas discovery before we know how wet it is... obv the wetter the better | ![]() thegreatgeraldo |
