22/1/2021 15:10 | Not for the first time I concur with rivaldo. Can't add anything other than I think SDI will deliver a very positive full year. | hastings
22/1/2021 15:05 | And sdi dont think anyone is selling because of covid as they were beneficiaries. Just normal volatility. This is the game. LONG | arregius
22/1/2021 14:41 | Yep. Fair enough. I've taken my original cash out and left my profits invested. Hold judges as well. That's a good long term hold based on my experience so far. | scooper72
22/1/2021 14:40 | JDG are on around 34 times 2021 earnings at 6400p according to WH Ireland. SDI are on a P/E to March'22 of only 22.9 per Progressive Equity Research (which is conservative imho). If SDI were on the same P/E the share price would be at 163p. It seems to me that JDG remain on the far higher multiple, and that SDI deserves to be closing that gap. | rivaldo
22/1/2021 14:27 | Well put your Tong where your mouth is I've just added at 108-109p. This was a good buying opportunity. Thanks go out to Tong's friend Mr Market | mg1982

Calling out your BS once again. Please be careful of this sick individual. He has a history of lies and ego trips. tongosti - 21 Dec 2020 - 09:19:19 - 871 of 883 SDI Out completely - leave smth for the next guy. | mg1982

21/1/2021 08:52 | More news from Chell, this from a couple of weeks ago: "5.01.21 Chell Begins Creating Innovative Mobile Engine Emissions Testing Facility for Leading Manufacturer We’re pleased to announce the expandable, self levelling ‘shipping container’ to house our new portable jet engine test module has now arrived at Chell Instruments ready to be fitted out. When a leading international aircraft engine manufacturer needed a concept for mobile engine testing, they came to us to develop their solution. The heavy-duty ‘shipping container’ has been custom manufactured and will be transformed into a mobile aircraft engine testing unit by our skilled engineers ready for deployment worldwide. The project is intended to be completed by March and will be transported and operated globally out of its home base in Derby. Jamie Shanahan, Sales Director at Chell says “When the leading manufacturer in aircraft engines came to us with their testing challenge, we put our heads together to develop the perfect solution. Our bespoke all-in-one engine testing unit will revolutionise the ease in which they can perform these tests thanks to its portability. No matter the challenge our expert engineers are ready to help.” Totally unique, the portable engine test module is being specifically developed for easy transportation and can be deployed around the world with minimal logistical effort. Its compact size and portability mean it can be exported by land, sea or air and offers a high level of comfort to the engineers working within it. The modular shipping container’s conveyance helps our customer cut costs and increases flexibility for aircraft engine development. The project is anticipated to be completed by March, when we hope to post a further update." | rivaldo
20/1/2021 11:38 | News today from Chell Instruments, who are sounding very bullish: Extracts: "20.01.21 Chell Instruments Welcome 2021 After 2020 Exceeds Expectations" "Despite an unpredictable 2020, gas measurement and control experts Chell Instruments still achieved their key goals for the year and are now planning for a successful 2021. Though the global pandemic caused disruption, the manufacturer has continued to support a growing number of customers and provide precision instrumentation around the world." "The world-renowned gas measurement and control experts have maintained momentum throughout the year, achieving the targets set for the business. In addition, they have launched a number of new products including an Environmental Flow Test Chamber and a mini pressure scanner with EtherCAT connectivity. “Even with the challenges, demand looks set to continue to grow in many sectors in 2021. For example, despite the current restrictions on air travel, we’re really excited that our instrumentation is being used in a number of projects working on the electrification of aircraft propulsion” states Nick." "The firm’s 2021 plans include continual development of their ultra-compact range of ‘Nano’ pressure measuring devices and a special project to deliver a self-contained mobile testing unit for a leading aircraft engine manufacturer." | rivaldo

13/1/2021 15:15 | The new 37 page note from Progressive Equity Research is deffo worth a read having just ploughed through it myself. Informative (even for long-termers like myself), balanced and conservative numbers-wise. Here's the link again - free to register if not done so already: | rivaldo
13/1/2021 12:08 | You seem to make the assumption that my approach to the game is similar to yours. My question into you is: why? | tongosti
13/1/2021 11:58 | You should not have sold in the first place, shouldnt you? | arregius
13/1/2021 10:35 | I see Stockopedia have SDI in their 20 stock portfolio for 2021. Good write up and they scored SDI well across the board. | our haven

12/1/2021 19:44 | Thanks Rivaldo, I agree. The 2022 EPS forecasts are 4.8p, the same as 2021. Definite scope to outperform that. | rp19
12/1/2021 11:04 | Revenue forecasts are high: Strong growth in FY20 and robust outlook for FY21 – Group revenues increased by 41% to £24.5m in FY20, boosted by acquisitions made in FY19 and FY20. After a strong performance in H1 21, we forecast robust growth in FY21, with revenues expected to increase by 33% to £32.6m." And more Still haven't top sliced. Thinking twice. | petewy |
