01/2/2015 10:00 | Thanks Hastings a great summary of the potential here, good to see they are proactively trying to reach brokers targets. Like yourself I'm optimistic of a better future here. | battlebus2
01/2/2015 09:10 | A few initial thoughts that may be of interest to others keeping an eye. | hastings

15/1/2015 12:47 | Can certainly understand your frustrations Bookbroker and you mKe some good points.Never invested myself due to lack of growth despite decent products.Revenue flat for 5 years was not inspiring. However, had the takeover gone through it could have made really material difference to prospects. Apparently it failed at the death, which is a shame for the company. They may well go private, but I favour a tie up with a private player to come through.Anyway, now taken a small speculative position as of thus morning.Hopefully be able to add comment when or if I get to visit ! | hastings
15/1/2015 11:52 | The way this is going, private is going to be the only option, I've heard nothing but excuses from Ford about the performance of this co, and a lot of hot air, how on earth do they expect to raise more capital when their leading product is effectively unable to compete, tweaking it will make no difference, it is uncompetitive, they have all these branches but none seem to have sufficient market presence, and it's disgraceful to hear the board trying to convince investors that acquisitions are the route forward, with what are they going to pay for them with when they cannot even make a profit on existing products, they have no leverage! I made a big mistake listening to one poster here a year ago. The thing is one reads posts here and start to believe that there is a compelling reason to invest, and at the same time in reading the co. reports the optimism of some directors end up making me part with cash - more fool me! These micro penny shares double on the base of ADVFN BB., not on fundamentals, when you want to get out, it's near nigh impossible to trade due to low liquidity! | bookbroker
15/1/2015 10:45 | As opinions go, I don't think they will take it private. | hastings
15/1/2015 09:50 | A lot of new stock to place! | bookbroker
15/1/2015 09:45 | Can buy 150k and sell just 1k online at the moment... | troutisout
15/1/2015 09:44 | Surely delisting is unlikely, if they are after a sizable RTO then the listing is one of the jewels. | troutisout
15/1/2015 09:24 | Thanks Hastings a good summary, the RTO could prove to be profitable for shareholders hence it was wise or me to average down.. | battlebus2
15/1/2015 09:23 | Thank You Hastings | troutisout
15/1/2015 09:19 | Added a few thoughts that may be of interest. | hastings
15/1/2015 09:01 | Haven't these guys up top realised that for a small co. transaction costs are a road to nowhere, they need to concentrate on improving their existing product range rather than dreaming of becoming a bigger entity, they already have enough on their plate, shareholders have suffered enough! | bookbroker
15/1/2015 08:41 | Yes good call bookbroker... I believe there is still hope and have added on the dip. It's going to be a long haul from here. | battlebus2
15/1/2015 08:26 | You called it correctly bookbroker. Well done! | mudbath
15/1/2015 07:57 | This co. won't be around in three years the way it is being run, The management are in Lala land, acquisitions £1m/10m, what planet is Ford on! | bookbroker
15/1/2015 07:28 | The placing represents a 14% dilution for existing shareholders and the price a 14% discount against yesterdays offer price. Still a very speculative business but I'm quite surprised that they did not optimise the opportunity to seek a larger amount than £500K. No position. | masurenguy
15/1/2015 07:09 | I had a small nibble in the placing. The placing shares will qualify for highly generous EIS tax reliefs including 30% up front tax relief, so the net purchase price for ordinary PIs participating in the placing is 7p/share, the chairman's commitment to take up to at least 500,000 shares (existing directors cannot claim the 30% up front tax relief) was the clincher for me. SDI were originally seeking £500K, so it looks like there was reasonable demand. The only real catch with EIS is that investors need to hang on to the shares for 3 years (or lose all the tax breaks), so this one is a three year hold for me. | timbo003
14/1/2015 16:27 | lol, i'll be standing beside you.... | battlebus2
14/1/2015 16:21 | I will be rising early tomorrow in anticipation of Scientific Digital Imaging at last presenting their interim results. Don't disappoint me please. | mudbath
13/1/2015 13:45 | Spoke with company last week and confirmed results would be out between 12th and 16th.Not a holder, but do keep a close eye. | hastings |
