Have to say I think it's great to see that we all seem to agree in varying degrees of passion.
Tosh, I'd like to say that I wonder from your earlier comments whether the the poster you refer to actually "Lies".
To lie it's necessary to understand the truth, but what if the intellect doesn't allow the individual to understand the "truth"
I think that maybe he actually believes what he posts (however daft that may seem) and IF that's the case then he's not actually a liar, but simply unable to understand the bigger picture.
Simply an idea, but it doesn't detract from the rather sad consequences of many of his posts.
On a less morbid subject, I wonder where we find some REALLY solid support? Now offered at 6.8p...

Gazza, that is just the point so how is this Company in such a mess, how is the share price at an all time low, why has no one done a deal, why has no one funded Scancell other than through ever decreasing dilution.

I posed a question to DE yesterday regarding how pharma/charities decide who gets funding (19299). He kindly expressed his views (19305)

I have pondered this further, particularly in the light of P7's repeat of the quote:
" you know what Richard you may have found a cure for Cancer".

The FACT remains, there are 19 people alive today who would probably otherwise be dead. Is that not a cure? How much more do people want????

Tosh, they have actually delivered a 25% decline in the share price year on year for the last 4 years. RHatton is spot on, they either nail down a deal with Biontech in the next couple of months or the next fundraising could be in the low pennies.

I read somewhere, if you inject baked beans or cornflakes, whatever, you’re always going to get an immune response, somehow making the picture look temporarily better than it really is? Therefore very difficult to know if a treatment is really working, or if it’s the immune response that’s doing the work. Would that be right or not?

I agree with both standpoints P7 and ONW.
In any other industry, compensation is based on results, and bearing in mind it is the ultimate responsibility of the shareholders to adopt and agree any changes in financial compensation, it beggars belief that the BOD have managed to get themselves a massive pay rise, having delivered a 50% decline in the share price ... it just doesn't happen in any other industry.

Continuing on from the comments made about certain posters, and expressly directed at one in particular, i find it amazing that there has been no action from SCLP to have him censored.
He has, and continues, to post utter unfounded rubbish. His posts are 100% inaccurate and do nothing but harm to the company, and potential shareholders.
If, as we're led to believe, board members read these BB's, they must shudder every time ineptico's name appears.
He misleads people with his lies and deceit, so why oh why have the company not taken any action ?

I haven’t posted here since I left last October. But surely the issue is plain to see now going forward.
The only possibility is a BioNtech deal prior to needing more funds to complete the SCIB1 trial. Literally the only possibility and going by previous years no doubt an outside chance.
One year on almost from the last cash call and no trial still.

ONW, forgot to add Goodfellow even stated a couple of years ago that people were coming up to him patting him on the back and saying " you know what Richard you may have found a cure for Cancer". Well what is a cure for Cancer worth ? about 6.5p a share on the AIM market.

ONW, appreciate what you say but the share price is a reflection of the BOD's performance. Even after the failed trade sale of 2013 the Company were given 8m to extend the trial, we were told at the time that the extra funds would put the company in a position to do deals on both platforms where there was " significant interest ". The company has now raised a further 20m for a trial that hasn't even started yet and they don't have sufficient funds to complete the trial. Ruck Rover was quite right to ask the question," where has the money gone ". Like you say rewards for success no one has a problem with that but we are now seeing the BOD in their truest light.

Panama,
Take your point, but the main area of completely misplaced optimism (and misinformation - intentional or otherwise) is surely LSE.
In my view many were misled by the published "guarantees" from that source and bought in accordingly.
Now I certainly won't argue that I was disappointed that the Trade Sale post Phase 2 trial for SCIB 1 wasn't carried through, and I must admit to buying in partly because of the "fixed" timeframe. What's the adage about gift horses?
BUT, when realisation dawned (and it took me a long time against massive propaganda on LSE) my view of SCLP changed and after the 22p cash raiser the writing was on the wall.
Yes, of course I'm disappointed with the current situation, but I've always said it's necessary to temper one's investments to the risk profile one's prepared to bear.
Ignoring ridiculous past comments about no risk et al, although the BOD hasn't delivered, I don't believe it was through lack of trying, BUT I will join you in asking about the salary adjustments last year. I always thought that success bred reward, not the scenario we've seen.
So to close, I believe more people (PIs who read BBs) holding Scancell shares have been finacially damaged by nonsense posted about this company by self appointed experts, rather than a BOD setting out to intentionally take money from investors.
The question of Success v Reward for the Company's senior Officers is another issue, but not one I'd want (or intend) to discuss on a BB at this time.
as I've said before, I have some sympathy for your comments, but I look at and express things in a different way.

Tosh, based on previous attempts at funding we can safely say the next round of funding will be in single figures. The fact is if this IP that has been developed over the last 7 years with 30m of funding is so great why are the BOD so inept at getting that case across. Let's face it everything the BOD says is a contradiction. I see the posters on LSE are still putting the share price performance down to sentiment , what a load of twaddle, the share price is very fair reflection of the performance of the BOD.

Morning ONW,
Find your posts refreshingly informative which has been the standard set by this Bullitin board recently with far higher contributions that MFFF.
Many of my posts are aimed purely at pointing out the folly of believing anything the Village Idiott says or dos rather than the other stuff which I leave to others.
The trHYPE Gang pose a big threat to innocent and naive investors so want to protect them from swallowing any of trHYPE.
Der Leader has just CONfirmed with his CONfirmation bias theory that he is deluded as we ALL know he is the only ONE who needs to CONsider his Bias in a more balanced way as his huge EGO is the ONE eleohant in the Room that everyone acknowledges is there but Only he does not see it

Not at all, it's the frustration of seeing off topic and deliberately argumentative posts appearing on a BB which has recently been not only informative but REALISTIC.
Since the realism is appropriate to the general drift of the majority of market related comments on this BB over the last few years, I'm sure you'll appreciate how annoying it is to see attempts to generate childish arguments and deflect discussions by silly posts that attempt to demean and create chaos.
So no, not keeping bad company, but attempting to enjoy discussions (not arguments) that had become the trademark of this BB of late before the disruptive (and misinformed in many areas)force that returned recently to clog the flow of discussion.
Hope that helps.

So.... we now have absolute proof that, as per the posts of many of us on here recently, Scancell need funding ( not that it took any form of rocket science to work that out, a school kid could have done it, which then questions the intellect of a few posters on the other place who claimed differently )...as per C7's post, i quote... " CH has assured me and i guess anybody in contact with him that EVERY avenue is being pursued for funding ".

So once again, contrary to the village idiots claims that we are fully funded, he has been shown to be TOTALLY WRONG yet again.... it must get so boring for him to be proven to be wrong, time after time after time.

And as for the village idiots posts on human bias ! I find it extraordinary that the biggest advocate of bias anywhere, has the audacity to accuse someone else of it ! its astonishing !
The guy needs therapy , lots of it, and very quickly.

Yes what annoys me is being misled about level of interest when it patently obvious it has not been there. As you say Panama a lot of genuine investors have poured a lot ifbthere hard earned in here and worse some have invested in the fakes hope of finding a cure for cancer.
Is it too much too expect an Honest response as that would effect the degree of rusk.

We know baNABA is thick and a proven liar and CONman so we ignore his unbalanced rants but members of the board we should be able to trust.
