Loz, as is the case for just about every company on AIM and other exchanges.

"""Yet again, *WE* witness the 'need' for BALANCED opinions.""".......Well that is what i have been reading for a long time now, on this BB all week, and the lack of posts on LSE is all about funding, the need for it and the desire to move on back in trials.

Some might deduce to, that by increasing staff, and with the clinical development being ramped up, we are working under guidance to meet timelines where funding will be announced.

""Who gives a monkeys""", I would suggest we all do. ATB

As *WE* entered Q3, much was made of the 'hope / news' here, would be 'bountiful'
Whether that 'belief' was as a result of words from R G / BoD, with 'soundbites like "Doors to BIG PHARMAS are WIDE OPEN" - or somesuch.... or the misguided trHYPE claiming = A 'bountiful Q3'... lies ahead .... matters NOT.
The 'passing of Q3 has provided = NOTHING {again}.
It is not the quantity of 'posts or soundbites' that give 'direction'
IT IS
The quality of 'posts or soundbites'... Which, yet again, *WE* CAN clearly see, as another 'Q' drifts-by.... Fall-short of 'unsound' expectations.
Whereas, those who opine, that FUNDING / ongoing LACK thereof,is of utmost importance.
.
Yet again, *WE* witness the 'need' for BALANCED opinions.
The REALISTS have been proven ASTUTE, in directing their thoughts towards REALITY
Rather than,
Those who choose to worship the 'UNDOUBTED' Jam-tomorrow / 'Cannot FAIL'.. possibility / scenario.... Which, as it seems, with the FAILURE of Q3 to provide 'the Bounty'... the 'Bounty' now moves *ON AGAIN* to = the AGM.
.
Some might deduce, that a couple of added staff - puts more 'pressure' on 'cash-burn' ???
Will "A couple of added staff" provide the 'impetus' to acheive the VITAL FUNDING required ???
.
But, "Who gives a monkey's"

agema, agree with that, heads we all win.

smiler, a more sobering thought is the backing small biotechs get in the U.K. Unfortunately we are in at the high risk end, easy meat for the loan sharks, lets just hope we can release some IP with a commercial deal.

ChelseaTo put things in perspective Chelseas first 11 last night, earn in a month what Scancell have in the bank. A very sobering thought no matter which way you look at it

Chelsea

One thing about funding is proven. It’s suspiciously hard to come by for Scancell. They are overdue waiting for it. Can they even achieve it,? The coin is in the air.

Panama/Smiler, can"t really argue with that. Let"s just hope there is good news on that front, nobody wins if we can"t raise the money. Anyone of us might have been one of the patients still alive after five years. For me, of course the rewards are important, but my word the two come together.

Just been watching the Chelsea game.....blimey they were awesome!!!

What we do know about funding is that hefty discounts to the "current"SP have been given and any rise in the share price has seen selling ..If Scancell where in a position of holding a good hand, then funding at a premium would of come by now if not a deal struck with a major. Imo the next 6 months are crucial to Scancell, it's critical to get products in trial but with lack of funding and what little money in the bank drying up, the pressure is mounting up on the BOD

Chelsea, one thing is proven, funding is not easy, you do not dilute by 20% at the lowest share price for 5 years if it was, which is the complete opposite to what Goodfellow stated.

A patent for Moditope is obvious. Standard for the industry. It has nothing to do with funding. One has to wonder if a commercial deal will even take place. It’s already long overdue and still no sign of one in sight. I feel funding talks are not going well, the delay proves that.

Very rare to see an empty day on here. What are your views about Scancells determination on securing Patent Approval for Moditope?? in relation to a commercial deal providing all the funding for all the trials in 2018?

As *WE* see yet AGAIN, the difference between - those WISER, more ASTUTE folks, who are able to 'Get Things RIGHT'....
And
Those with set-minds who repeatedly 'Get everything WRONG'
Perhaps this earlier post might 'throw-some-light' on how the WRONGs - originated =
.
A popular 'dictum' used on these forums, when 'investing-in'... or PRIOR to 'investing-in' ANY company/share... is = "Do Your Own RESEARCH".
ERGO = With that comprehensive list of - and 'ongoing' - 'Errors of Judgement', made by der TEA LEAF, One has to deduce that, in this case - the nanies' COSTLY 'Errors of Judgement' in Scancell...HIS LOSSES here,{ @ circa 12p }... indicate that, on HIS part - this was/is BADLY RESEARCHED.
