Just wondering, what we going to rely on to get a boost to the share price in the interim, do we have the funds to keep going through to the Data gets to us next year?
And finally, I do hope that this announcement wasn't designed to get the share price moving North with the Presentation tonight to underpin it?
PLEASE don't tell me it was..... :-(
Maybe there's a (late) rabbit waiting to be pulled (wasn't intended as a pun, but it sorta works) LOL....

Loz,
now that is very funny.
The clown has the need to feed his own ego with his fairy tales.
Someone who makes so many BASIC mistakes, and calls everything wrong, will have lost anything that he may have been left in a will.

He is so desperate to be taken seriously that he feels the need to tell everyone how successful he is...Of course, as we all know, the reality is something totally different.

Interesting that CH reckons that, it's really clinical data that adds value to the Company. Not verbatim but that's one of the messages in the Proactive Investor interview put out this morning.
I really hope the stock overhang can be eliminated by next year when we start to get the Data we all crave...
Oh, and that we get the Data we need....Although I guess we all reckon we will! :-/

You took 2 massive hammerings yesterday, one on each BB. Both sites totally wiped the floor with you. Try not to let that happen AGAIN, theres only so many times that you can get up off the canvas.
You must be extremely punch drunk, so i will put your lack of any understanding down to that.

ineptico,
simple trading strategy , a child could understand it, unfortunately, you dont grasp the most basic principles, so you're not worth engaging.

" Risk of being out " ?
That depends on how much you're in the hole for. Unlike yourself, some of us can afford to be in or out. Unlike you we haven't just accumulated expensive shares and sat on them. Unlike you that process has delivered freedom to do what ever we like, no matter what the share price.
Your " risk of being out " however, is only really relevant to you, because you now HAVE TO hold in the hope that the share price increases sufficiently to claw back some of your MASSIVE LOSSES.... You're trapped old bean... You have to keep playing... you've lost too much.

Now jog on theres a good lad, nothing that you say is of any interest to me whatsoever, its all just uneducated rubbish and lies.
You monkey lover you.

I was not being rude there.
When I said = " I think *WE ALL* KNOW the answer... Don't you ??? "
I was not inferring rHatton 'Doesn't Know the answer'... I think he DOES.
In fact, I think *WE ALL* DO
{ Apart from 'The UNHINGED'.. Whose opinion DOESN'T COUNT anyway }
{ DOESN'T COUNT...CAN'T COUNT = same difference....HE's still A COUNT / CAN'T }

First, let me congratulate you on your trade-out... which attracted the 'scorn' it did.
"funding required still" ???
Last Oct -2018... SCLP STATED cash in hand = £7.6 million
Last Oct -2018... SCLP STATED cash burn for previous 6 months = £3.24 million
Now, 6 months on...with extra salaries {Jan 2019} is it 'reasonable' to suggest cash burn NOW [end April 2019}circa £3.24 = cash in hand of £4.36 million
£3.24 over 6 months = £540,000 / month
With the possibility of a further 2 months BEFORE trials START...another £1,08 million COULD mean the £4.36 mil drops to £3.28 mil cash in hand
Do *WE ALL* think this is 'healthy enough' to START,Run those trials, and emerge at the other side... with time added-on to 'analyse data/results' ???
SO, re. the FUNDING question =
" do YOU { or anyone else} think they can get the data over line without ??? "
.
I think *WE ALL* KNOW the answer... Don't you ???

rHatton,
i also agree with ONW's post.
The downside from here is minimal, whereas the scope of potential upside is many fold, so the risks at these levels ( depending on how much you invest ) are less.

Its still a lottery, but the tickets are cheaper now than they've ever been, so worth a punt.
Great call to sell out at 11.5p by the way.
I was tempted to sell more in the early teens, but my average is so low, it wasn't worth the risk of something happening whilst i had no shares, so a ballsy shout on your behalf, congratulations.

Not sure of the timing for the next raise, but common sense would dictate that they will need a share price well into double figures to enable them to raise the sort of cash needed.

I would suggest that this mornings RNS was designed to help, but the BOD have clearly misjudged investor sentiment... Too many times crying wolf has made people very cynical, and weary.

rHatton,

Agree with OLD, he beat me to it.
Even if you reinvested all the proceeds from your sale you will have twice as many shares as you used to. So either way, you will be in a better position than had you just held.

Hi rHatton, 11.5p? Clever lad!!
OK long term a punt from here has to be so much better than even 11.5p!
MY view?
Well put in a proportion of the intended whole now and wait... if you invest about half of the sale proceeds you get your original holding, with cash left to think about later (or somewhere else)!
If a cash raiser from existing holders happens then more money can go in at that level. If not catch the share price as it gets upward movement from wherever it finds a base.
Nice to have a choice like that.... hats off to you!

This all depends on your view of success for the various platforms..... obviously.

You have to laugh.... the village idiot has posted ..." studied the science of Scancell for 7 years .. and posted in excess of 30,000 times on the subject .. "the Thesis".

He now appears to believe that a history of over 30'000 posts of utter rubbish, filled with lies and 100% inaccuracies, equates to a PHD !

I'm a bit surprised to see comment on the other BB which suggests that people have been selling on a miniscule riseare somehow not very bright.
I'm not sure anyone who thinks (rightly or wrongly) that there's a large supply of SCLP shares freely available to MMs would want to chase the share price up on what is good (but not conclusive) information.
If there's no supply why is the share price not running at around 7 or 8p after some good news?
It could be Oversupply or it could be little demand.
Or it could just be that those already in are simply not motivated to put more cash to the risk of negative return, or it could simply be that many think they'll have to stump up for another call, before the DATA that's been required by significant IIs available.
When looked at like this there's no great incentive ATM to commit more funds (for existing holders) and any new money that's maybe coming along from the Proactive chat will be absorbed by the paper already (or available) to MMs.
This may not be correct but without good positive Trial data there's not a great deal of incentive to commit more money ATM ..... Is there?

Well that was short and sweet.
No real conviction behind the rise by the looks of it, it all petered out quite quickly.
As ONW says, the company probably need to have a concerted flow of positive news to convince investors, we have all heard the wolf cry far too often.

At least there has been something coming out of HQ.

It looks to me that (quite apart from the now apparent share overhang), the investing followers of scancell are no longer giving the BOD the sort of support and belief that used to be available in spades.
It also appears that the Honeymoon (which amazingly lasted for several years) has now been well and truly converted to a rather tired (if not suspicious) marriage which only very few LTH can get out of without some expense.
Beware low flying rolling pins for anyone getting in "late from the office" tomorrow morning after the "promise" of drinks (and more)out in the city for a "lucky" few.
Looking forward to seeing the next moves.
