21/11/2018 16:22 | Thanks Bermuda. I may have got this mixed up with another drug then. I'm sure that Scancell sold rights to something to a pharma or Biotech company in the very early days. I've always been disappointed that such promise seems to have gone nowhere especially as a colleagues husband has bone cancer. | gazza
21/11/2018 15:44 | Ruck, If you're around, have just caught up on the posts on lse re. the old Daily Mail article and the earlier version of ImmunoBody used to treat the girls with osteosarcoma. The drug in question was actually developed by Lindy Durrant and her team at Nottingham but was funded and supported by CRUK. In 2010 CRUK licensed it to Scancell and so no need to have any concerns over the IP. Name of the drug in question is 105AD7 - if you google mAB 105AD7 you'll get the full story. | bermudashorts
21/11/2018 12:40 | Gash - Was 21C in the sun on south terrace Now a bank of high cloud passing over = 12C Just a month from now, the days start to get longer BUT, like SCLP, it will get 'colder' before it gets 'warmer' . Interesting, that Tarquin attacks the poster...YOU...under the 'topic' of Shropshire. Would Tarquin be so vindictive, had you not said = "Lozan talks sense... whereas, inane talks nonsense" ??? | the real lozan
21/11/2018 11:58 | (Social) Loz, what's the weather like in France aujourd'hui? Glorious but chilly here in Northampton. (On topic): Why am I seeing red when there is so much good stuff happening here? | gazza
21/11/2018 10:59 | Yes we have a bit of Banter about Shropshire when it is quiet and to be sociable. Completely different from the Manical lies and obsessive need for BIG EGO baNANA to want to CONtrol everything on NFFF with the CONivance of his bunch of trHYOERS and misfits | drdobson1
21/11/2018 09:15 | P S - The trHYPERS must be in 'very deep do-do' if they feel threatened by 'Shropshire' | the real lozan
21/11/2018 08:55 | 'On /Off Topic' Police - Since when, did this subject/question of who/when/what folks CAN post about anything they wish... on an OPEN forum...become an 'ISSUE' here ??? Is it because there is nothing of REAL interest for trHYPERS to ramp ??? Sureleee, . Surelee, Anything is BETTER than 'making-up' LIES/FALSE CLAIMS.. or in this case - A FAKE 'ISSUE'. Is this 'ISSUE' just another attempt to CONtrol...or an invented 'ISSUE' for trHYPERS to 'feel' *superior* ??? Which-ever...*WE ALL* know...They are NOT. | the real lozan
21/11/2018 08:29 | TF, the reason why ineptico doesn't post here anymore is down to the fact that he gets buried when ever the idiot posts his twaddle. He's scared ! | tosh123
21/11/2018 08:06 | TFYou won't see this of course but it makes me feel proud to have made your list.Thank you.ps.. sorry for the off topic. | 10acious
20/11/2018 22:39 | Thanks Bermuda - will listen to that as soon as 'The World Tonight' finishes. I have the impression that BoD have recently been trying a little harder to communicate? | torquayfan
20/11/2018 22:30 | Gazza - give it a rest. Inan hasn't posted for many many months here so why are you obsessing now? It's fair enough to observe an off-topic day on LSE but it ain't normally that way. End of. BFN | torquayfan
20/11/2018 22:24 | The recording of Cliff Holloway's presentation last week has now been uploaded to watch | bermudashorts
20/11/2018 22:16 | TF, if you don't want to read obsessive stuff you must have filtered Inan as well? | gazza
20/11/2018 22:08 | The Grumpy Old Men - I'm sure that's not a description of yourself but if it is - you should fit in well on this BB. Thanks for the update re. Roche / Tecentriq - I get Pharmaphorum myself but it's good to see an 'on topic' post anyway - it won't be well received. ATB | torquayfan
20/11/2018 22:01 | Gazza - filters - yep I use 'em. And it counts to turn 'em on and off. Why not ? The 'filter' makes the place acceptable - I don't have the read the obsessive stuff. But I do get to read the sensible contributions. There ! Present list - Loz, Tosh (2),Dobson (2), Terror, Logman,10acious. Lovely ! | torquayfan
20/11/2018 21:13 | Gaz. Thanks for conceding it's about 5 in 50. I make no comment about the lse board - except to say that people who don't like it don't need to read it. To make the point again, if around 90% of posts aren't relevant to SCLP then it's probably inaccurate to suggest the board offers "sensible, balanced and civilised debate, mainly on topic, but the odd bit of social interaction and banter." But WE ALL know that anyway :) | wigwammer
20/11/2018 20:14 | Wiggly Gazza hits nail on head. It is all about baNANA on MFFF.He mentions Brexit as being rekevant to SCLP.nonsense except in very general terms then he uses it to post multi articles on HIS views. He wants to Dominate the board by Bullying everyone else. He us aunblanced and as Lozan says the MFFF is FLAT as a SARF Londoners Witch Pad and occupied by the SMALL brains of the floor space in the SARF Londin pied a pomme de terre | drdobson1
20/11/2018 19:59 | What ...The actual {repetition} FLATman 'Input' REALLY says / means - As *WE ALL* CAN clearly see " 5 out of 50" leaves one with ' 0 ' Sounds about right ??? | the real lozan
20/11/2018 18:59 | Yeah gaz. It's been another information overload day on the advfn board. 5 out of 50 :) | wigwammer
20/11/2018 18:35 | Wiggy, it's more on topic than the whole weekend of brexit and party political broadcasts on behalf of the Inanaco party. It mentions Scancell (on topic), funding (v.important on topic), MCAP (relevant), Glaxo (relevant comparison) TF, do yourself a favour mate and don't mention filtering, we all know you DON'T! BTW, turning it on and then back off again doesn't really count. | gazza
20/11/2018 17:13 | Yet more "on topic" discussion. Gaz will be pleased :) | wigwammer
20/11/2018 16:47 | And once again the resident village idiot on the other board comes out with yet another pearl of wisdom, he says ... " Ray its nothing to do with MCAP ... its about access to funding ". What a plank ! Of course it has something to do with market cap, the larger the company, the larger its potential exposure to funding. For example, does the uneducated oaf think that Scancell could go to the funding market to borrow £100 mill to buy another bio that wasn't making any money ? They would be laughed off the stage.... Now put Glaxo in the same situation, and they would stand every chance of securing the funding. | tosh123 |
