05/12/2024 09:34 | rogerbridge,Re your point about Christmas trading, I suspect that is spot on. I think there will be some serious disappointment from many retailers - and the economy and lack of trust in government and geopolitics are the reasons.I also wonder whether governments may be pressed hard on various treatments. The papers today say the NHS will deny 90% of eligible obese people the Mounjaro drug and some will have to wait 12 years for it, due to budget constraints. Coincidentally, I recently met a diabetic who had just started Mounjaro - and she wasn't enjoying the experience. For Scancell, this points towards the USA and possibly selling out, I think. | markingtime

05/12/2024 09:27 | Lozan you are the only one I feel bad for banning. It was still the right decision since I was only after people of a particular experience/profile, but that's just "business". But you speak with honesty and you are right to be proud of that. | sci102

What's the point if you are withholding significant parts of your analysis from your public posts and providing that only to a private group? You are an attention seeking fantasist. The private group is a figment of your fertile imagination, like your charts! As for jealousy, you really must be totally deluded. Look at the comparative tick scores, and ask yourself who has cause to be jealous!! | inanaco
05/12/2024 09:09 | Took the bold move and added this morning. Probably stupid but we'll see. | nigelpm
05/12/2024 09:08 | It is annoying how PIs are treated but standard practice Phoenixs. Concentrate on the big picture. When the new shares are issued next week the share price will quickly recover. The company will be in a much stronger position and funded to 2026. Another payment from Genmab is coming when SC129 starts phase I Modi-1 data in the summer, RCC with doublet. | marcusl2

05/12/2024 08:49 | I was talking to a guy who owns a very established games and toys store in our local shopping centre and elsewhere. Trade has dropped off a cliff and he is seriously concerned about the Christmas period, where he receives a considerable percentage of annual sales. | rogerbridge
05/12/2024 08:48 | Dear Nigel ... Separately, Andrew Bailey, the Bank of England Governor, warned that Ms Reeves’s National Insurance raid risked derailing interest rate cuts. Mr Bailey said interest rates may need to be kept higher for longer if companies decide to pass on the cost of increased employers’ National Insurance costs through higher prices. Mr Bailey told a Financial Times event: “I think the biggest issue now in the immediate future is the response to the National Insurance change – how companies balance the mixture of prices, wages, the level of employment, what is taken on margin, is an important judgement for us.” Dutch bank ING warned that Ms Reeves’s tax raid on employers was “just the beginning” and more hikes were likely next autumn. Tight spending plans beyond next year mean “a big top-up is inevitable”, the bank said in a report on the global outlook for 2025. | inanaco
05/12/2024 08:47 | It's the way 'companies' think Nigel. The market is a different animal. I told you the stock had much lower to go and you could get your gift much cheaper. I told you of the price reversal at 15.3p as expected. The waves were clear. Don't blame human planning for poor market awareness. .................... .......... Crypto to save the world !!!! | 2tyke |
