BTW, if the combination patent extents exclusivity for both and it was filed after scib1 and iscib1+, how come iscib1+ has extended patent life? :)

If LD stops fronting communications, take that as a good sign that the company now has proper management. This RNS doesn't count as obviously it is the CEO that has to comment on a placing.

kind reminder:

"Sci102 - 24 Jul 2024 - 13:14:50 - 458 of 576
The thing is, it is the management itself that should provide the realistic perspective. It is a tough one, because if one is say a carpenter (or an accountant, looking at you Bermuda, or whatever that is not drug development related) that wants to invest part of their income in an ISA, can you really blame them for listening to an established scientist that also happens to be a (non established) CEO vs an anonymous person on a board (regardless of what they might say they are)?

And from the perspective of an analyst, and I've met a few (anonymous board, I know, but if anyone can vomit what they want so can I), what are they supposed to project when basic "facts" used to (maximum hopium here) change often in the same day?"

Learn from this, or be a fool forever

PS the intradermal part is probably because they want to test if maximising exposure to dendritic cells will drive a better response. The concentration of DCs is much higher in the skin than in the muscle. It seems they are in a corner now where they must exhaust chances to prove that iSCIB1+ works.

SC did not misinform necessarily when they said they might get non dilutive funding for the phase 2/3. They misinformed on the timelines for the readouts and therefore on the cash runway to get to those readouts.

This raise is about getting there obviously, except now they can't claim 85% ORR.

The "good news" is they seem honest this time about the timelines. Around second half of 2026 (for a deal that would fund the phase 2/3) seems reasonable to me.

Hopefully you guys will get some good news on modi next year, it's the only thing keeping redmile/vulpes/others in I think.

Glymabs

Given Genmab have a 2nd Glymab now then it’s likely they are the ‘company’; that Scancell are talking to re the best way forward for the platform.

Hi Bermuda, yes - agree to disagree. I still doubt Redmile would go for a $500 million offer for the whole Company and I'm sure Redmile haven't got into Scancell without knowing how to exit optimally, remembering that Scancell are small beer for them. I think Scancell and Redmile would be unable to resist $500 million for the Glycans platform at a later stage and as has been said, Genmab are anyway an unlikely bidder for the whole Company. GL

I am angry about this placing/raising. I am a shareholder and will remain so but the way that this has been done smacks of manipulation. Why the discount? The company is supposedly advancing its products and yet they raise more funds at a discount of greater than 20% to the share price

ID delivery is known to have the potential to improve the performance of vaccines.

Tropis unlocks the rich potential of the human dermis, paving the way for enhanced immune responses. Vaccine delivery directly into the dermis enables access to the immune system, with benefits on durability and breadth of immune response, and mucosal immunity. Tropis also enables access to immune cell populations more directly thus creating the potential for dose sparing.

Well Nigel,
Bitcoin 'bubbles' periodically. That doesn't matter. It experiences what's called parabolic growth. I won't bore you with the maths.
But it rises exponentially and then crashes 90%. Rinse and repeat. It has done since 2010.
6 cents to 100 thousand dollars. Just the start.
It isn't a shell or a tulip bulb.
There will only ever be 21 million.
It's inflation proof. The only 'money' that truly is.
And it's the most lucrative thing humans have EVER known.
Good old MT...knew he'd come good 😂

As will I MT. A bubble to blow everything that has come before it into total insignificance. It's certainly gone on a lot longer than I expected.

Yes unfortunately it's those that bought into the science who got it wrong....asset prices don't listen to science.

Markets don't try and work out anything inane...you have COMPLETELY the wrong idea about asset prices. Which is why you fail.
And even though it's pocket money to me.....I wouldn't buy that many shares in this stock for much less than 10p.
There are far better options.
Did I tell you MT has predicted 100k for Bitcoin this evening ?

depends how many sell hoping to buy back at 10.5

you have to be a shareholder to buy ...

and how many are waiting to buy in ?

£1m worth is small

and you now have a definitive answer ..... scancell will do a deal !

i will leave Ivy and 2tyke with a sugar rush, as they try to work out "can we buy 1.68m" at 10.5p

meanwhile the market has to digest and work out "will we get a deal" and whats that deal worth

Interesting from Lindy

The lab results suggests iscib1+ is even better intradermal

So they are running more HLA restricted patients through the Muscle route

and other patients without restriction through this new cohort 4 arm to get a more balanced over view

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

which means we will have treated 120 approx before registrational trial through all routes

i suspect because of up lift in Valuation of 120 patients treated and having tested both routes

if they are doing a deal .... ! you have the data
