Absolutely right, wigwammer. In any news-driven stock, a lack of news is bad news and pressures the share price . We've now had some news, but some have been disappointed that it isn't a jam today story.I take a somewhat different view, which is that a market cap of under £90mn is vastly too low for the IP here. £200mn (which is where it has been recently) is also too low. Even if Modi-1 works best with a checkpoint inhibitor, it will still likely be very valuable to those who face a patent cliff in a few years, so IMO the end game here is a sale of at least one or two of the platforms at significantly more than the current market cap. And I expect that to be in 2024/5.

since day one i have always held with no risk because i firmly believe in the scib1 data ...... and lindy pretty well confirmed the data is showing efficacy of the vaccine combo and tri mix

Scancell MCAP barely covers 20% of the Genmab deal alone

once you start breaking the values down .. its an absolute no brainer

with ISCIB1 on a brand new patent ....

the unhappy flappers ... IMHO have more issues with there own "Cash" issues with the cost of living etc than with sentiment with scancell

what we do know PD-1 does not work to well for Ovarian ... as a stand alone

if we can form synergy with MODI1 ....... with so many PD-1 out there

we will be chased

Yes. I started reducing when Scancell didn't RNS the results of the second scan, and made my thoughts known on LSE. I think LD is fantastic and she is building some great IP, but the lack of monotherapy success is to my mind a setback.

Someone mentioned the the prof is busy building a company and not the share price. I agree, however, both are closely connected.

Ditto. The other chat is littered with fairy tails. Extended option time table is a clear indication of failure and allows management to be too relaxed regarding SP, market valuation and shareholders return. They want to NASDAQ, apparently the prof is disappointed with market reaction to her latest RNS…and many PI are disappointed with the extension of the share option. I rather go to 5p , close the door on making cash from the options and have a good lesson how to manage and promote PI interest.

I have great respect for Bermuda's posts. But I do recall stating that the lack of update post scan 2 was likely meaningful, and it being rather abrasively dismissed. The lengthy price fall this year can be entirely explained by the news flow, or lack of it... ATB

Panama....trust me on this.
For anyone who wants to make money out of the stock market.....there is absolutely NOTHING of interest on the other channel.
I'll repeat that...NOTHING.

Interesting posts on the other channel regarding Lindy's share options. the fact that they have for the second time had to be extended a further 3 years is an absolute sign of failure. interesting that the 33p share options were just cancelled and not extended but the 4.5p ones can just be extended. Try extending your 3 or 5 yr share options as a non-board member in any Company that you work for and it won't be allowed. One rule for BOD's and one rule for the plebs. Might not be illegal as the rules are written to protect a minority. As was shown with the plandemic " RULES FOR THEE BUT NOT FOR ME "

Lindy does not do this for money ... money is a side issue (an effect of doing what she loves)

inanaco,

I have been sent a copy of your 4734 and 4735 posts, both of which are totally incorrect.

I am not trading Scancell. I have clearly explained my reasons for reducing my holdings and whilst it may suit you and a small group of others to believe/portray this as an attempt to buy back for a quick 20%, it is absolutely not the case. You should know that in my entire posting history, I have only ever posted as I see it and never to suit a trade - that's simply not how I invest in bios. I have also never advised anyone to buy or sell whilst doing the opposite myself. Rather than trying to discredit other long term holders to blindly defend Scancell, you might do better to accept that they simply have a different view and investment strategy.

I still believe that Scancell has great potential and will watch from a distance. I will continue to post any info./research/links that may be helpful or relevant but other than that I will leave a much reduced holding in the bottom drawer and wait and see. If there is any news or a corporate event that shifts the risk/reward ratio back then I will happily pay more to buy back the stock I have sold but right now things are tough out there and there is a way to go.

OMG...you couldn't make the LSE bb up if you tried.
They are only trying to spin the 'hindsight story' the other way around now ! The stock price fell because the boss didn't sell. Lol
The guy called empty end is truly the most ignorant person on markets that I've ever come across. He simply must have spent time in a boardroom somewhere. That's where the truly stock market unaware tend to hang out.
There's also someone criticising someones grammar who can't even spell the word.
You couldn't make that bb up !!
Anyway...I'm stopping reading it now ...it's pitiful.

Thanks plasybryn, you are a gent and unlike the clappy crew open to new ideas and not dogmatic about sticking to what 'doesn't work.'
Yes I will be back to describe the upwards movement of the 3rd wave once it gets underway.
This won't be a continuous rise but will of course be punctuated by other large drops, that will once again catch the bulls out. That's because the 3rd wave also has a defined structure. The only way to anticipate them accurately is by Elliott wave.
Of course today again shows the clappy crew were again totally WRONG about their 'reason' for yesterday's share price drop. No surprise. Just hindsight story telling in their naivety, as I said.
Some like moon party do seem to be learning from mistakes. Most like Inan, marking time, chill and Wigwam are pretty much lost causes in the markets and will be constantly battered by the waves....without ever understanding 'why'.

More likely she's got no money - her mortgage has probably gone up! - and so to exercise them she'd have to immediately sell some (perhaps quite a lot) to meet the cost and tax bill. Which would send out the wrong message...

Bit early in the day to CLAIM that
Even IF any reasoned, intelligent person could think circa 11p represents the share price rises ...
Bearing in mind that just 3 days ago the S P sat at mid 13p

Not the announcement, dipstick, the actual substance! Why extend the options, unless there was a need to because the CEO was still unable to legally exercise her options because she was still deemed in possession of inside info after Monday?
